i have a bug with a model that i made. i added a cape to the clone armored pilot, but whenever you barrel-roll or die, there is a black square hovering in mid-air. this one has me completely stumped :? . i think this is a job for DarthD.U.C.K. as he seems to know alot about modeling and as he has been a great help to me in the past.

hmm
i suppose you accidentally copied the bone_root object with the cape, if you dont want to rehexedit the cape:

5th place after FLGS for the bone in question
00 = Unhidden
01 = Hidden

ok ill try that, thanks DUCK

EDIT: i looked at the model at all the FLGS chunks and all the sections were 01 (in the fifth byte after FLGS that is). any tips?

EDIT: 2 (lol): the showing skeleton was in the middle of the abdomen area. what bone is that one? if i can figure out what that one is, then perhaps i can fix the problem.

make shure that you didnt copy the bone.root together with the cape to your unit
usually this bone is hidden
