Off-topic : Tao', you should have guessed that an Advanced Micro Devices Athlon 64 processor owns a potential computing power determinated by its denomation, and not by its real frequency ! For sample, even though an AMD Athlon 64 3400+ has a "clock's cycle" of 2.20 gHz, it can reach the same performances than an INTEL Pentium 4 650 processor, running at 3.4 gHz...

Sorry man, that was your final straw.
Gosh -- three bans in less than two weeks. I've been an admin over six months and never had to ban anyone till about 10 days ago. *sigh*

Off Topic: I know how processors work, thank ye very much.

Yes, I know Athlons are capable pieces of hardware, but there are better ones than the 2.2 model. Trust me, I have a computer that I built for a project running on a 2.2 AMD, and it can't run this map either.

TheTao wrote:Time for a math lesson. A decimal point refers that an integer is out of another number. When it comes to processors, it is always a number out of 100. Therefore, 2.20 is two and twenty one-hundredths.
Enter a little thing called simplification. 20/100 can be reduced to 2/10. Therefore, 2.20 and 2.2 Arethe same thing. All I did was knock off the extra zero.
OffTopic: Quite Correct.

OffTopic: So is he banned from the forums, or the whole website. And if so, does his IP get banned?

Off-topic : I
equally know "
how processors work",
Tao'...

Currently, the best frequency reached by
AMD Athlon 64 processors must be 2.8 gHz, which is exploited by the
FX-60...
But weirdly, the difference between the two quoted "
clock's cycles" isn't that high, and one of them does not allow
Star Wars Battlefront II to launch a "
user-made" level... How do you explain that, then ?
Tean', have you simply removed
Arc9' account, or placed his
usual IP Address on
phpBB Administration Panel's "
Black list" ?

I didn't know that. Good thing I didn't splurge on a 2.8.

Okay, you guys have just BUTCHERED this topic. I posted something relative to the topic which I felt should be brought to the developers attention of this particular map yet you guys are talking about AMD processors. That is irrelevant, and I have yet to get a response to what I stated in page 6 of this thread.

Would you like a little cheese with your whine? What we were talking about was very relevant to the topic, namely
which hardware could actually run the map.
P.S. I don't think it's wise to tell an admin(Levithan) his conversation with someone was "butchering" the topic.
P.P.S. The link you provided above was to 1.1.

Actually, it was NOT relevant to the topic because hardware has nothing to do with running a map, that has to do with personal issues involving ones own hardware. Another thing, I wasn't directly speaking to anyone in particular but as a whole as you guys went through a page and a half without any regards to my previous post. I'm sorry if I seem offensive but it seemed like my post was being ignored and I want the author of this map to get what I said to his attention.
PS. Correction, the link I provided IS INDEED the V 1.2 one because that is where I downloaded the lastest version from (and I played both versions and there IS a difference) because V 1.2 allows you to fly higher into the atmosphere and there are more space craft. Also, I got that link from page 2 of this thread in which the author states that, V1.1 is on the 1st page.

If your post was ignored, clearly no one is interested. But here, I'll give it a whack: You can't turn that ship into a hangar; you'd have to create an entirely new model. There, I've responded to your post. Happy?

And dude, if hardware has nothing to do with a map, then speculation about capital ships has nothing to do with it either. Get off your high horse. The forums are not here to serve you.
P.S. That link sure looks like 1.1 to me...

I've been playing this map a lot now, and I can safely say it pwnz. However, there's one thing bothering me; the Republic flyers spawn way too close to each other. Trying to take the ARC-170 equals an instant explosion.

The ship placement has been fixed in 1.3 along with many more spawn points for different ships.
On the Cap ship discovery..I have already done some work with this..and have fit hangars into the fed core ship...but awaiting a modeler to "cut" me a hole so flyers can get back in.
Actually...v1.3 is totally re-vamped in placement of vehicles.
And to the poster wanting v1.2 the link is on the first or second page of this thread for that.
I consider v1.3 as complete...but awaiting some feedback as to whethere the Cap ship presence throws off the timeline of the battle(because the whole point of this project was to "re-create" the Geonosis offensive)."

Stager I got 1 thing to say..... BRING IT ON.... I'll give as much feedback as I can give once I get ahold of some new screens or the mod it self..

I don't think the presence of the capital ships will affect the more resonable of us. We, or at least, those of us who look at the problem carefully and calmly, will see there is no way to change the ship used for a capital ship. It would take many years to do so. Release it please.

The Cap ships will be cool to battle and play on
