My Ventrilo Server

OK. Don't pwn me over this, 'cuz I really don't know much about Ventrilo and stuff. I just know how to use it. I use Ventrilo for AA, so... If you're wondering. :P

If I were to create a directory on my server (say something like http://www.gamechief.net/ventrilo), could I create a Ventrilo server from it?
If so, would I hafta install any programs on it or my computer for it to work?

You would have to install the Ventrilo Server software <.<

The one that is free only supports 8 people, you have to buy a license to get any higher.

Also, you can't host it on your web server <.<

If you pay for a web server, you can't host it with them, you have to run it on a computer that you can install it on.

Webserver - Websites
Hosting Server - Programs, games, etc

Quite a difference. Hosting servers cost quite a lot aswell.
