Hmm strange, yeah i'll take a look at it again and see what's going on.
Edit
Before I go changing anything try the -softskin switch in the msh option file.
I had to use 50/50-75/25 weighting on the breathing tube points to make them not so rigid looking.

Made a .option with -softskin, but he's still looking heavy-headed

Alright try this one:

I'm not happy with the rigid breathing tubes, they don't bend naturally when the head turns, but VM defaults the weights to hard skinned so this is how it has to be done for now. The docs say soft skinning is doable so i'll take a closer look into it and try some things.

I see what you mean, although it's hard to notice during gameplay. The kitbash overall looks great though, It's good to finally have a tcw Phase II pilot. Thanks ace!
I added some missing details to the helmet texture.

Here's a link to a clean unmarked version:

Already got that when you released it. It'll work for now, but as you said, it's not the best.

How about the actual weapon?

I'm using a loaned computer (my regular one is being repaired and upgraded) so I can't look at it right now. I assume that's the model from CWA?

I have a model that was done by Chadaface for a Republic tank. Unfortunately it was unfinished, it lacks UVs and the fire points and turret thingies are not properly.
Here it is in MSHviewer
This is a reference
I was hoping that someone with the skills and software would be able to finish it. I also have the XSI file for it.
I also have this Supremacy Fighter model by the same:
As you can see the entire back half of the cockpit isn't textured and doesn't have texture UVs, so again I'm looking for someone that can fix that.

Warb Null has made a ton of high-quality SWTOR vehicles for Empire at War, including those two. Perhaps someone could convert those.

Why did nobody ever mention this guy to me before? I could have a field day with all the vehicles and spacecraft he has done from TOR. That said his imperial Supremacy fighter is of much lower quality than Chadaface's the cockpit geometry is all wrong.
Also I still need someone to convert them. And I have no idea how difficult converting EaW animations to BF2 would be.

Warb Null's TOR Walker is missing it's legs. I tried converting it already. The legs are probably somewhere in the animation file?

That (Manka walker) and all of Warb Null's other releases (up to 7-21-2015) have already been converted to obj.

Right, but I need it converted to msh with animation.

Unlikely, most members here won't touch animations.
Fortunately everything you need to know about any conversion process to msh can be found
here.

....then I'm going back to my original request about getting chadaface's model's fully UV'ed and with lined up firepoints. Chadaface's Manka Walker already has animation (or rather it uses ATTE animation)

mm i suggest try this:
* import droideka skeleton
* import your model (droideka sniper?)
* fit your model to legs and torso the same position than droideka bf2
* envelope it and try using same animation (of course dont roll i dont know how deactivate it)

Why no rolling?? But you'd need to change the (un)fold animation
