Hi I am new here but I have been looking at the XSI export into BF2 and I encountered a problem when following the tutorial. I get all the way through untill the enveloping part and then it goes from this

For some reason the enveloping process is messing up the model can anyone help me?

Well, theoretically you can alter bones (only bones is really safe), but doing so can lead to exportation errors when the exporter freezes scaling and rotation. But in general its easier to make your model fit the Generic Skeleton and go from there.
