Red vs Blue

The 30th marked the end of the 2nd full length red vs blue series, Red vs Blue: Reconstruction, with an ending not quite expected by anyone. Anyone else watch it? Anyone a fan of Red vs Blue overall? Comments? Concerns?
Hidden/Spoiler:
The idea that Church was an AI based off of the Director was totally insane, and the craziest part is that it spans the entire series. My only complaint was that Church as we know him is now dead.
Theres also an animated series of red vs Blue to be in production soon. A trailer was released at some big convention for machinima folk.

Not necessarily. Near the bottom of the "Role in plot" section (here) someone has put an excellent observation as to how Church may not be dead.
Terrific end to a terrific series. Bravo Rooster Teeth. Bravo. :)

I've heard about this show. Where can I download/find these episodes?

The Blood Gulch Chronicles (Season 1-5) can be found online in various places (but may be removed a few days after :P) or on DVD.

Reconstruction (Season 6), in its entirety, can be seen or Roosterteeth's main website (type "red vs blue" into the Google search bar, it should be the first two links)

When Church's body fell out of the jeep, I thought he was still in it, because I mistook Grifs voice for his. :P

I've been following this series since Ep39 (which is like one of their best, if not the best RvB episode). I love this series and do like how they went for a more serious story, but I prefered with they were just goofing off and having laughs over story (ex 39). I think I may finally buy the box set and RvB:RE
Hidden/Spoiler:
Church isn't dead he's a mf'ing ghost. Which when you rewatch season 1 you see that Sarge also dies and meets with Church which kind of throws off Church is an AI thing. Also the same thing with Tex.

I was sooooo shocked when Caboose drove off the edge I thought died. But thank god he didn't. This was a great series, but was missing Doc, Tucker, and Doughnut.
I can't wait to see what RT has in store for us.

They are starting an animated series. And
Hidden/Spoiler:
When did Sarge die? And Tex, at the end of reconstruction, Church says that he lost someone he loved long ago, and that was Tex, which is why he made an AI of her as well, which explains Church's and Tex's relationship.

When Caboose doesn't know Church is possessing him and snipes him out.

Great observation! I never thought of that. I wouldn't be surprised if that's how they'll explain it.

Terrific end to a terrific series. Bravo Rooster Teeth. Bravo. :)

While I see the epsilon thing working, the animated series is supposed to be events prior to reconstruction I think, because reconstruction is after the war, and in the animated series, they fight the covenant.

When you think about it, the director was basically torturing himself. They're both Church, and Church (Alpha Church, not Director Chruch) had memories from his childhood, and they were probably the Director's.

I'm still wondering what they're going to do with Tucker. He called command while the reds were waiting in the base (he talked to Grif and didn't know it). I'm guessing he'll be brought back.
And one of my favorite lines in the series, though I don't care for swearing (warning, censored). If you saw the clip you'll know what he says and why it's funny.
Hidden/Spoiler:
Wash: So you're saying you're a ghost?
Church: That's right! Boo, &*#($^#(&*
Hidden/Spoiler:
Also, I wonder what's gonna happen to Wash and Maine (the Meta). The EMP probably didn't kill Wash, though it might have killed Maine due to all the AIs he had in his head. Irregardless their armor would be locked up.
Best.Series.Evar (Reconstruction) -- Much better than the original Red VS Blue, and I loved those too.

I think each was the best machinima to date in its genre. Reconstruction takes the cake in action/ drama/ suspense, while the original red vs blue is best in comedy. Rooster Teeth rocks.

One inconsistency I noticed in the BGC was Caboose. At first he was more serious and had a deep voice, by season 5 he is very retarded and has a light voice. To see what I mean watch episode 3 then Episode 100.

Yeah, same with Donut. The directors decided it wouldn't be any fun having two characters that were both rookie privates, so they developed the characters even more.

Exactly, and they needed those personalities to balance out the comedic series. It wouldn't be RvB without Caboose and Doughnut like that.
