Twi's been back, actually. But I think Xavioius wanted to host it for a little while (he hasn't responded to my offers to take it back, anyway), and I'm totally okay with that, soooo...

Both have their advantages and disadvantages, Xav has it up 24/7, mostly, but I experience a lot of lag compared to the lag-free server that Twi had, but sometimes Twi's hours weren't always convenient.

Now that school is out though, and I have more time, whoever runs the server, either is fine with me.

I'm just thankful that we have our own server.

Well, 1.7 is out. And I updated. Pistons! But I made a backup of 1.6.6

That's a SSP mod, not SMP, and besides, it needs to be a Bukkit Plugin. Do you know of a Bukkit plugin that features hidden doors?

Wow. That was fast compared to last time.

15 minutes to update to 1.7, 10 for 1.7_01 and 1.7_02. Impressive work, bukkit people. I wonder if they're some of the people notch released source code to.

Xavious. When Ever Xavious Updates(And I haven't seen him around...)

Alright guys, Xavious just PMed me. He no longer has time to maintain the server, so I will be running it again. I'd like to once again thank Xavious for his generosity and for the time and energy he gave to run the server for as long as he did. :applause:

So, now onto news.
I can no longer run the server on my family desktop. HOWEVER, since I have a new, smaller laptop for coursework, I can run the server on my gaming laptop. Don't worry, I've done it before and the connection should be almost the same as the desktop. It's almost as powerful.
BUT, it doesn't quite have the processing capabilities. So, we're going to have to cut back on some plugins.
Plugins that will be included:
Permissions
SimpleSave
SimpleLog (though, it's outdated, so I might have to find a new logging plugin like LogBlock, even though it's not as useful without the coordinates)
DynamicMap

And a handful of background administrative plugins that you guys don't have to worry about. What this means is that the server will mainly be a vanilla minecraft server. No teleportation, no shops. The nether is still available thanks to the 1.6 update, so that can be a means of faster transportation as well as being a second, unique world to explore, but all blocks and materials will have to be acquired by honest means. I'm sorry if this causes a hassle, but it's better than not having a server at all, right?

I don't have time to set it all up today, and I work early tomorrow morning, so expect the server back up by late afternoon tomorrow.
