Tried that. (I'm not stupid.) It doesn't work so easy for space which I have no examples to look at. (Cave and tunnel and hangar particle effects fail in space maps.)

What should I place in where it says engines? (Caves, tunnels, and hangar do not work.)

Region("rumble spa_rum_engine engines", 2)
{
Layer(2);
Position(903.827759, 333.922424, -1014.949951);
Rotation(0.706778, 0.700330, -0.070332, 0.071092);
Size(55.000000, 110.000000, 55.000000);
Name("rumble");
NextIsGrouped();
}

how I had to get the rumble regions to work. Is to first place an rumble.odf /grasspatch.msh with the rumble effect attached to it(anywhere in the map) then create a rumble region and tile it to size. I tired several diff ways this was the only way that I could get to work.
