Please don't triple post. You already got warning, and you might [cokezero] the staff off even more now. Which is realllllly bad. Trust me. I've seen something like happen before, and it didn't end well...

Please edit your posts instead of double/triple posting. Do you have a corrupt disc? My first SWBF2 disc got corrupted (It had a couple of burned/melted spots on it) from it running in the drive to long or at least that's what I read when I researched it. Than I found out about
CDCheck and that it recovers files off of the corrupted disc (I have no idea how it does it). So I got it and recovered the files and ran the first disc of of my Computer and it installed fine. I later wrote the files to a backup disc so I wouldn't loose them. I would try using it but you must be patient because it takes hours to recover the files first manually copy all the files that you can and than recover the corrupted ones. Hope it works!
EDIT: Why is my rank changed, hope it doesn't mean something bad?

It's because your post count is/was 666. (666 = devil's number)

@delta40: Now, why would you get rid of your Gamedata folder??? I didn't say anything like that. I said keep a backup, not remove your original one! You have to merge the folders.

That doesn't sound good... I had the problem with the first loading screen for a while but I managed to fix it after a while. But it was long and confusing and I kinda forgot how, sorry. But for you the best advice I can give is to buy a new copy of BFII, because your current one is screwed up. Sometimes the desktop can be at fault also but I would just try getting a new game first.

I'm 13 and I have 105 bucks I earned from mowing neighbor's lawns. You can find BFII for about $20 nowadays. I also said that I managed to fix the loading screen problem, not the installation error you're having. But I'll try to see what i can do. But there's no guarentee that i will find a way.

I think a slimple idle anim where he just stands with his blade down and pointed behind him would be cool. But please don't do a new combo set. I've seen custom made ones and they usually look ugly and bad. I'm fine with any of the shipped combos.

Select your drive and than select the files you want to recover and than click recover at the top left corner. Remember to copy all the files you can to your desktop instead of using CDCheck to recover all of the files because it takes hours to recover them. When you click recover at the top left corner you will have to type in the directory you want the files to be put when its all done, you will probably want them to be C:/Documents and Settings/***/Desktop (*** for your Windows User Name). When your done recovering these files make sure all of the files are in the right spot just as they are on the disc than run setup. You may want to write these files to CD/DVD so you won't loose them and have to do the process all over again the next time you need to reinstall.
