GC on PC?

Hi, a friend of mine said once you could play gamecube disks on pc, however knowing that said friend was PC ignorant,
(anyone can play a GC it takes smarts to make stuff work on pc  )
I ignored the proposal, considering it foolish. With the relase of tp my intrest in the matter soared.

BTW there is no way I'm ever going to get a wii/GC
as my parents think I spend enough time on the computer,
and that if I had a gameing platform they would never see me again.

So, can it be done?

No?
Yes?
Yes, with hex editing?(or something like that)

No. Your friend's just trying to sound smart, that simple.

The only way I can think of is illegal, so I won't say.

Yeah what Dohnutt said. It's probably not easy to make your pc read GC disks, I dunno. And it's illegal.
