SPACE: OMEGA

Mode: Space Vehicle Conquest
N7 Space Combat Force vs. Blue Suns

So, is this Team DM or something? Space conquest?
Also, I'm pretty sure that BF2 already had space combat... :P

Nice updates, and very cool gameplay videos. The Anti-Ballistic Shield looks even better in action!

Very nice updates and gameplay videos, i particulary like the new shell and the new music. And the models are great, now it needs more alien species and custom maps.

Alright, so I fixed all of the floating weapon icons, now I just need to create the icons for the biotic and tech powers.

Anyway, would anybody like to contribute a map to this mod? Doing so will make it so you can beta test the sides, quite obviously, since they need to be plugged into the map. Please be aware that I am not making this request out of laziness; I am doing Virmire - which has been started, by the way - AQT is doing Noveria, The Nasal Abyss is doing Afterlife, and THEWULFMAN is doing Aeia, or Pragia, or a similar map. Some of the maps that I'd like to see include, but isn't limited to the Citadel, Tuchanka, and Eden Prime.

Marth, if you need anything I will be willing to help. What types of map are you looking for? I've started working on a Mars map so I could contribute it to the mod when I'm done with it.

Well, I already have my own Mars map in development, specifically for the Sol Map Pack, but this mod's plugged into it so yeah. Have you played Mass Effect? If not, look on the Mass Effect Wiki for a list of all of the planets. For a "closer look" of all of the planets, search for some Mass Effect Let's Play videos.

I could probably do Eden Prime, it seems like it's up my alley. If you want me to do it, send me any information regarding the map's role in the mod.

Alright, if you can excel with its development, sounds like that could work. Have you played Mass Effect 1?

No, but I have found a series of videos on youtube, and a nice picture of the look I want to achieve.

Hmm, I was thinking more of near the end of the mission at the area with the platforms and lift station like where the beacon is located. I'll try to get you some images when I get home.

EDIT:

Alright, so we're going to have two variations here for this map:
- Red, stormy (but not rainy) skies: N7 versus Geth
- Clear, beautiful weather: N7 versus Collectors

Eden Prime is a naturally beautiful utopia-like planet. The reason for its redness and stormy atmosphere in Mass Effect 1 is because a colony on the planet was attacked by the geth.

Here's a concept art of the weather variation for the N7 versus the Collectors.

And here's the area in which I want the map's battle to take place:

I'm really liking the map concept after seeing that picture and watching the video. The two skies should look nice as well. Hit me up if you need some props for the map and I'll do what I can.

I think I'd be able to do some of those crates..

Thanks, Cerfon! Will do.

So Willinator decided to edit the texture on Taivyx's Spec Ops model into a texture for the Husk, and here's the output after I did some detailed edits:

A glow map as well as a higher-res conversion of the texture are both currently underway thanks to WULF. ;)
