Ahh yes. Back in the BF1 days, this was my all time favorite map. I played the SNOT outta eddies maps back in those days, and now he's graced me with permission to convert them (well, whatever source he can find).
Modes:
Conquest
1 Flag
2 Flag
Hero Assault
Classic Conquest (only works if you have the SWBF1 mappack installed)
Credits:
Eddie - designer
Teancum - for classic conquest
mysteray - beta testing
DaWeess - beta testing
Gametoast.com - for obvious reasons
Here's some screenies for those who don't remember it:
Affectionately nicknamed "The Room":
The Y corridor from an anchor CP:
A view from a courtyard:
Why it's called Italia?

Well, i think the swbf1 version was cool because i'm used to this level in cs, and it was a good conversion. i'd definately download this if i had swbf2 installed..

Lol, Tean, I never played it either. But Squipple speaks of it in such glowing terms, it's gotta be good.

@Tean: You must go play it now! :emp:
@ AlexSecura: Tynna valley is next

(although he said it was unfinished - I'll do my best to do it justice)
May other faves of his are Kastel, Q City, and Jai Nollan. I hope he's able to find the source for some of those

I definitely will if he's able to find the source. I've only got two of his maps right now, he said he had to look on his backup discs to see if he had others.

Sweet!!! It is about time someone ported Eddie's old maps, ooh how I loved his maps... exploding barrels, custom objects, paitings, and sofas.
They were in my humble opinion the BEST SWBF 1 maps ever.
Now I can look forword to playing them in SWBF2 thanks Squipple!
A merry Christmas indeed!

Yeah I used to enjoy playing eddies maps quite a bit.
Never tried this one, Qcity, or Kastel. I was looking for star-warsy maps at the time. I'll probably give this a try...
