Tell me about it. especially if you are creatng new models and textures. Knowing rends, he is concentrating on detail, game balance and accuracy so it will not be an everyday posting until close to the end (tweak time).

Oh yea . I´m working at this map since months.
I will post some updates soon. Lot of 3d modelling is done. I´m currently working at texturemapping and most objects wear only temporarely textures.Nothing you would like to see lol.
Well i´m not new to 3d modelling but to xsi. So i´m learning this tool too.
Once done i have to do planning and gameplay tweaks. I hope to release the map end of june.
I´m pretty sure you will be surprised

Good luck with the planning part Rends, I now know how difficult that can be (and how much hair you can pull out) when you have a lot of things for bots to steer around or go through. I'm still having a devil of a time trying to fix my own planning, with not a lot of success. The bots just love to get stuck standing around in the hubs, and I can't get them motivated unless I give them an order and then tell them to disperse. Sometimes I have to toss them a thermal detonator before they'll move.
Here's hoping you can pull it off in a map this complex.

Hi Rip,
well i think i won´t have much trouble with the planning. This is my 7th map for SWBF and i guess i know my job. Biggest problem will be AI flyers.
They don´t follow plannings they simple cricle from one CP to the next and so on. And while the skyscraper are so huge AI have a tendency to hit them. I don´t have set any barriers yet but from my own expierences AI will still have a hard time to fly well. Anyway it will be a mostly groundtroop map without ground vehicles even if it´s a realy huge map.

Rends, you said this is your seventh map. That means that you have made 6 other maps. Which ones, because right now i only remeber Abridon City. I'm not sure if you made the tatooine ne called.... mmmmmmmmmm..... Jundland Wuestes i believe. If those two are yours then i would love to play your other maps as well because they are fun.

The 6 maps are Jundland Wastes/wuestes/whatever, the 2 Bounty Hunter maps, Abridon: City, Hoth: Escape and Wookieeland. They should all be under the downloads section

it`s nearly finished.There are 2 things that are stopping me from finishing it.
1 is the sound problem-how to you get all the CW era sounds to work ie my gunship are silent
2.I can`t get the cruisers to scale up in the game.They scale up in the editor but not in game.I think it is something to do with the lack of msh option file.I have tried setting one up but I can`t get it to work.Any ideas?

11of3, the mshoption file is just a text file you create with the name of the msh but with the extension .mshoption.
In it you put
-scale 5.0
or whatever.
Both these maps look goo. Too good. I'm making a coruscant map, but I'm not sure whether its worth releasing now.

I've believed MSH option files had this extension : "
.msh.option"...
