I'm done with botpathing, fixing of heroes, gametypes and adding of new heroes. Now it goes back to Bandu for model polishing.

Nice skin Pengiun! 'preciate the offer, but we've got one Mandolorian in the 'secret' mode already.
Just a thought -- I messed around with playing as an acklay last night. We can do it, but there are two bugs:
1-If you sprint or use the secondary attack, the model will mess up
2-It's HUGE on the character screen
Please let me know if you'd like the Acklay to stay in with the current bugs (there's no way to fix them)

Keep the Acklay, they're that cool.
I remember that messed up model when I played that one hex-edit that made the CIS Acklays on Kashyyyk. It was also huge on the selection screen, but that's really okay.
Have you added Wampas?

I re-skinned my wampa to see what it'd look like, but "snw_inf_wampa" doesn't want to spawn. Blast it.

so there is no way to disable sprinting/secondary attack for the acklay? i noticed that bug while messing around with them before, but i was thinking it ought to be possible to disable them (possibly in the combo file?).
anyways i still think the acklay's oughta be in there. if not playable, then non playable only, after all, the bots don't sprint, and of course that completely removes the size issue on the spawn screen (although i kinda think its cool how humongous they are

)

To stop the Acklay from dashing couldn't you put the cost of energy depletion to REALLY high. That way when you hit the dash button all the energy is used and you can't dash?

Yeah adding a Rancor would be cool

Btw a Acklay as a playable?? Would be HUGE on the screen but if you can fix the bugs and maybe make him a little smaller on the selection screen it would be nice.

Okay, I'm thinking whoever posted it is right -- the Acklay can probably be fixed in the combo file. It's probably that it doesn't have animations set for sprinting/secondary. I'll just change it so that it uses the same anims to sprint (and in the odf make it so that it doesn't go any faster) then change up the attack anims so that primary fire is stab and secondary is bite. Unfortunately there's no way to fix it's size on the character selection screen, so that'll have to stay.
I'm still debating on the rancor. I'd have to create a whole new layer for him if I did. Perhaps there's a command to spawn an object via LUA.

so........ when is this map coming out then
