.WMA is Windows Media Audio, I think you mean .WMV for Windows Media Video...

@Depdredatiob: You cant change a videos quality. But you can convert them to another format. I use SUPER ((free converter)) for converter movies and audio files.

@Ipodzanyman: You can create just as good backgrounds in the GIMP as in PS. The differences are small like different options and menu names.

to make a good abstract background you just need to download some brushes that you like ((ones for GIMP, not PS, there are some good GIMP ones out there, search deviantart for some)) just splater them on with some nice color themes ((like light brown/medium brown/dark brown)) then mess with smuding, burning and bluring.

I believe it should already be possible? There already are transition effects so take a look around them. If not you could download custom effects or make your own ((with an .XML file, don't ask me on this as I haven't really mucked around with custon effects for WMM yet))

This may be off-topic a bit but:

Is there a free movie maker like FRAPS that records more than 30secs of video that is for free. It can be a bit of an older version as long as it works and it works for windows and games.

-And Yankeefan05 I found another video recorder called Game Cam, but I don't remember the website, look it up on Google.....

I use SUPER ((free converter)) for converter movies and audio files.
So you could use it to converted downloaded pieces of film into a format usable in certain editing software? That sounds like something I could really use, do you know where I could download it?
