Hi all,
Quick question:
I have birds and fish set up in my mission luas, and I have the bird and fish .tga files in my world folders. When I see them in the game, they work (and look cool), but they're just white squares fluttering/swimming around. Am I missing a texture somewhere or what? Can someone help please? Thanks!
Rip

Well. white squares means a bad/missing texture. Check everything about your .tga files and see if there is any mistakes.

No, I just added them to Myrkr: Show of Force (Beta Version 0.25) and they didn't work. I made them work by adding "bird" and "fish" to the .req file for my world. Check other maps like Kashyyyk or Naboo for their .req files and see what must be done.

Hey Majiin,
I just did that and they work like a charm now. I knew it was a simple solution. Thanks!

So how do I go about adding birds and fish? I've added:
REQN
{
"texture"
"bird"
"fish"
to my world req folder but what else do I need to do? How do I need to alter the mission luas etc..
Cheers for any help!

Look at "BFBuilder\Assets\Shipped Worlds\Kashyyyk" and make a search in this folder with these terms : "fish" and "bird". Next, copy all found files in the correct places of your mod's folders. Finally, go to "BFBuilder\Assets\Mission LUA Samples\Kas" and open "kas2a.lua", "kas2c.lua", ... to know what entries you have to type in your mod's *.LUA file(s) to get your fishes and birdies working...

Jeez that was simple, many many thanks Lev. When copying files across I noticed that all I needed to do was copy across the TGA's (so I'll be able to edit how they look later) however I've another question, how would I go about changing their scale/size if need be, is there a geometry scale/size thing anywhere (as you'd find in an odf), I was thinking along the lines of rather than having sweet innocent little birds, simply scale them up and make them more like a (this is where my spelling goes to crap) teredactyl.. the flying dinosaurs.
