Mhh, maybe if you adjusted the architecture, you could still claim that this map is on Lehon - just in another clime. But I don't want to disturb your efforts to recreate the sunny Lehon we all know and love.

Chances are, I will change the map name because if I'm going to do a KotOR accurate Lehon, I'm gonna have to redo everything. Sorry.

I need help on a few things

-Custom Sides-
I have the 91st set up for the Republic but I need some ideas for the CIS and the GCW....
-Name-
Since I'm gonna change the map name I need a few ideas as to what it could be called. And NO Qdin I will NOT use your suggestion :p (you don't wanna know what it was).
-Vehicles-
I've already got an UT-AT for the Republic and two AT-XTs. The CIS have two STAPs. The Republic needs another vehicle to balance things out.... what? GCW needs vehicles too.

Notes:

I got the top turret sounds working for the UT-AT but the main blasters still don't have sound....

I'll probably have a version of the map that IS standard sides. It'll be a MISSION.LVL file that you can replace the original with. It'll be included with the main ZIP file. :)

If the Republic already has a big command vehicles and two AT-XTs, and the CIS is stuck with two weak STAPs, how in the world would giving the Republic another vehicle balance things out? If anything, it'd probably throw it even more out of whack.

The CIS have two CPs so it's harder to play as the Republic. I can't win without cheats on and I always end up as the last person.

I think that I'm good for a beta test right now so if you want to speak up! I'll be taking three. :)

Z13: nice job so far. A few critiques:
-The ut-at main cannons have no sound.
-When I spawn at the ut-at, I spawn underwater, which is bad. Try raising the terrain under the ut-at start point.
-On the at-xt, sometimes the mortars both come out of one barrel. Dont know if it was supposed to be like this, but just pointing it out.
-The at-xt has no walk sound.

Some things I would like personally:
make more islands, with a higher reinforcement count, and more command posts. Put some more buildings in, with turrets in them. Make the atmosphere darker, with some rain and lightning, to make it more dramatic.

I will post more stuff as I find it. :wink:

Thanks!

1. Still working on fixing UT-AT sound. There have been a few problems.
2. Ya I'm gonna be moving the UT-AT to the dock where it is shallower.
3 and 4. Nothing I can do about that. The AT-XT is from the Conversion Pack.

I will be adding a couple more islands, higher reinforcements but no CPs. Ya I'll probably add some turrets.

What does everyone think about creepy atmosphere?

I'd Add an AT-RT to the map. You were right right about the balance factor. I don't know if you said this but GCW Was all messed up...No Bots and when you got all the Cp's it wouldn't end. Ill find some more stuff and maybe post some Pictures.

No. I like the feel of "paradise" it seems to have right now. Keep it that way.

Well, I played the map.

Here's what I found:

AI run into side of temple thing.
Yes, as you said, please move the UT-AT spawn to the shallower dock.
It was kind of laggy on my end, so that's not really a map problem I don't think. I wouldn't doubt it'd be laggy on mine considering all the crap I have installed. Lolz.
Oh if you haven't seen it yet. The fire at that one place is kinda boxy. If you can fix that, great, if you can't, it's not too much a biggy.

But this map was really great. If I had the space on my comp, I'd film a dramatic battle in it. With the Droids trying to overwhelm the clones. lol Have 'The Rock' music for the drama. :P

OK thanks! Yes Chaos in Paradise is... hey! If I made a series of maps, that is what the series could be called! :P

Thanks for the tips. About the fire, I don't get it blocky and weird looking... it's fine for me.

Hmm. Well, I dunno. But when I saw the fire, it was boxy/blocky when it was burning. lol. Only once though did it distract me long enough to get me shot in the head by a sniper.... :P

yeah, I hate it when im playing a new mod map and looking around exploring and then all of a sudden i get sniped in the head lol

Please, for God's sake, don't include a raging storm. We already got enough maps with bad weather (the whole amount of "copies" of RDD, for example).

So If you want Chaos on your map, I'd recommend you add a lot of turrets. When these lay a deadly curtain of blaster fire, the whole thing looks a lot more like war.
