Geonosis: Incursion v1.1 reaches gametoast...

Man, I made this a while ago (it was my first completed map, done back when I was a noob. Wait... I still am one.) and put it up on filefront. I realized it didn't have a gametoast topic, though, and not all people visit filefront, so someone might have missed this! Gasp! The horror! How did they ever survive?...
Sooo... What the heck. Here goes:

V1.1 by Rikino
An updated version of Geonosis: Incursion.

A regiment of clones attacks a mountaintop base of operations for the CIS. A canyon
separates the two sides, and the clones must take a pair of bridges to cross.

Features:
- I forgot to mention it last time; grenades stick to people!
- The Republic now has custom units (A clone commander and rocketeer).
- Jedi don't do that kneely-thing when they die (you know, the "aiiee I got hit by a rocket now
I'll just sit down" thing).

Fixes:
- Fixed missing textures (lightsaber and streetlights).
- Recolored the bridges to make them more geonosis-like.
- Switched out the AT-RTs for IFT-X fighter tanks.
- Took out the BARC speeders.
- CTF is improved and more balanced.
- CTF, CIS has sound.
- Lots of minor tweaks to improve gameplay.

Issues:
- When the clone commander throws a grenade, it looks like he's useing a buff.
- There is still no boundry.
- Number of bots does not listen to the .lua; have to set it to 32.

Note: This map was made with having 32 bots on each side. It's a lot less fun if there aren't,
so set bots to 32.

Installation: Copy the folder "GEI" to the directory "Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon".

There's a few more things I'm dissatisfied with, like the lack of color and unit count (I'll fix if there's ever a new release).

U-oh. As far as I remember, these are screens from the old version. You're very evil, Rikino, father christmas already knows and there will be no presents for you this time. Pwned.

Anyway, I already have 1.0, so I don't see any need to download this new version.

Anyway, you'd be missing out on a lot if you don't upgrade. Like... umm...
Actually, the two main things are mentioned in the readme; there's two new units, the clone rocketeer (not all that new, actually. Just a blue reskin (in screenshot 1), and the commander (More Geonosis-style commader; yellow w/ commando pistol (normal and overcharged) and grenades).

The first was more of a beta, the second feels much more completed.

Is this 1.1 Version new or is this your old V.1.1 you posted some Month ago at Filefront?

That actually looks pretty nice.
My two suggestions (just from screenshots) is to get rid of
a) The galactic marine, didn't exist at geonosis and I have yet to see it used in a way that doesn't stick out like a sore thumb
b) The IFT-X. Basically the same as above. I would recomend you put in a SWBF1 style LAAT if you're at a loss for republic vehicles.
The firepower and the lack of armor really balances out.

The galactic marine was from an old version, and isn't included anymore. The IFT-X was used on Geo in the "Clone Wars" game, which can claim to be canonical.

But now I'm really wondering whether I should download the new version...I guess I'll, just for fun.

Yes, like Protector_Pulch said, I took out most of the uncanonical stuff, and added more "correct" things using this Wookiepedia article.

XD, everyone is telling me to do LAATs. It's like Geonosis = LAAT. Don't get me wrong, LAATs are one of my favorite vehicles in the entire universe, but I don't think they would fit this map that well. It's supposed to be more infantry based, not "I'ma gonna fly around up here untouchable and just shoot the heck out of everything". I plan on making a map with LAATs (SWBF I style, of course), but just not this one.
