Galaxy Without People (formerly Hunting the Rebels)

i decided that im going to combine some of my ideas. mainly because my annoying friend thought it would be funny to delete things from my computer without knowing what they where..... i lost the maps, the sides...everything i had made for swbf2 =( and yes he is sleeping a dumpster tonight =P hes ok, just a little dazed

very recently as i was watching the history channel i cam upon a commercial for a old documentary they had , life without people, and i heard they where making it into a series and showing it again. i never saw the original one because i kept forgetting. but it hit me, how awesome would it be to have a galaxy with out people? and heres the story i came up with

nearly a millennium after the Vong war, a group of forcepsychs (psychotic force users =P) had felt a massive distrubance in the force, they felt that intellectual beings (basically humans and all other species) where making a unbalance in the force and where the cause of its disturbance, they gathered followers and soon they where ready to start there master plan, creating a extremly deadly bacteria they released them upon every single planet and then sent down hunters to wipe out anyone left, when all intelligent life was removed, the forcepsychs killed themselves and the galaxy was silent.

200 years later the droids have taken over, there capital is Raxus Prime (what a shocker =P) and they are thriving. but the forcepsychs failed there mission, for on a uncharted planet humans still survive, of course they where never apart of the galaxy and where very low tech.... the humans finally discover the Hyperdrive system and begin exploring, they discover ruins upon worlds unknown to them. and they find droids, hostile droids. the droids retaliate against these new invaders and soon a war erupts. thus creating Galaxy Without People.

Planets involved:
Coruscant (its a urban jungle... literally the green houses thrived and started to take back what was once theirs, so did the zoo animals)
Naboo
Golrath Station (since i was really hoping on doing this map for HTR =P)
Empress Teta
Raxus Prime

Darn, I was going to do Arbra :x . And these planets seem to be following Operation Strike Fear. Interesting choice. I can still make *coughcoughcough* excuse me...

I would like to beta test, please.

This looks pretty nice. Terrain seems too flat on that map, though....

Looks pretty nice, I would like to beta once u get the sides done.

You know, the AT-AT/AT-TE would be good for this map.

all these screens are on tatooine... i plan on finishing this map first before i get to carried away and end up not finishing these.

also yea i know its a bit flat.... im gonna get working on it.

i didnt really mean to make it follow operation strike fear, i acctually never heard of it until i was looking up other planets i could do as a map =P

This sounds cool. Tatooine is looking good so far. It reminds me a little of Rend's jundland waste map for bf1.

Looks nice, maybe add some tuskens, and some more imperials, along with a jawa or two and you'll have a great map. :thumbs:

It looks very good indeed. I suggest you putting in a Sandcrawler somewhere if you havent done it already.
As for the sides, you could make Sandtroopers for the empire.
And rebels could get jawas as support units.

@ negah, i added a sandcrawler, but its in a corner where the enraged jawa's spawn. the jawas dont help either team because the rebels are on their land and the empire is well you know, a pain and just making matters worse =P.

well ive figured out the sides

Empire:
Stormtrooper- T-21, pistol, thermaldetonators
Heavytrooper- E-11 blaster, rocketlauncher,thermaldetonator, mines
Engineer- E-11, fusion cutter, thermaldetonator, health+ammo
Scout- Original Sniper, E-11 (has only 3 clips of 30 shots) thermaldetonator
Officer- Imperial Heavy Repeater (from the jedi outcast game), Mortar launcher (it shoots from the imp heavy repeater like in jedi outcast), thermal detonator, cuncussion nade*
Darktrooper Phase II- Underhand heavy repeater, (based off of the darktrooper phase II on empire at war: forces of corruption), thermal detonator.
Darktrooper Phase I- vibro blade( attached to the arm) thermal detonator*, rage*

*= subject to change

all other sides follow this pattern. except cis will have magnaguard and droideka insead of darktrooper phase1-2 and rebels will have a vibro blader and a heavy weapons expert to replace darktrooper. Republic will have a assasin trooper instead of darktrooper phase 1, and heavy weapons expert for Phase 2

the maps coming along nicely, sadly i run into a annoying crash which i hope to get fixed soon. i cant get any new screenies because of the crash but ill put them up as soon as possible.

change of plans guys sry =(

dont worry im still gonna make the maps, just i have to redo tatooine. after a series of obnoxious errors it gave me no choice. i will still keep the units i have (except i will merge the darktrooper phase1 and 2 together just to make it easier on me) i also will be getting rid of the T-21 (even though it didnt cause any errors i just cant seem to get it ingame.) which means all trooper (except officer who will still get the imperial heavy repeater) will be carrying E-11s.

good news is i get to remake the tatooine map and make it have a little less uncovered positions (it was a little open kinda like hoth.... but not as extreme) stay posted for new screens

and yes all the beta testers are the same (just incase some1 was wondering)

I'll beta if you want me too. But they look great, my diagnosis(there isn't any thing wrong, just what I'd like to see)

More cover, but you said you were gonna do that.
More animals, I haven't seen any sort of Tatooine aniamls, in any map; bar none. Maybe a herd of rideable Dew Backs, or a Krayt Dragon.
More story, a campaign always makes me download a map, doesn't have to complex.
More B-1s :D , by my name you figured out I like B-1, please include them as their own unit. :wink:
More podacers, I loved them game Episode 1 racer and podreces in general. Maybe have a driveable/drive through podrace. Would be sweet.

Awesome I love that game, I should have thought about that. And shouldn't be tough for you to do either. :thumbs:
