....(topic title says it all)
How do I set up a vibroblade ODF? I want it to act like a lightsaber that Luke uses.
I tried the last post's odf in the vibroblade release topic but that made the unit crash and the sword didn't appear in the soilder's hand.
Gimme help pleasey?

you should be able to find the vibroswords mesh name out yourself,
just enter it in the geometryname line instead of the all_weap_inf_lightsabre

there's a e in mesh and not in msh?
I put this as the odf - the odf name is all_weap_inf_vibroblade.odf btw.
Munged, and didn't work.

That's because "none" is an invalid entry. Try "clear" instead.

It doesn't matter at all, because it's just a texture name. You can set it to "clear" or "none" or "mavsthebest" or "fortunecookie" and it won't matter because none of those are texture names that you have in your mesh folder (if you do, that's pretty strange).
You'll need to elaborate on "didn't work" and tell us what your log says. If I had to guess I'd say you've not got the right name for the mesh in there, but who really knows without anything to go on?

well the engineer is acting as if the vibroblade is a gun and the vibroblade is not appearing ingame. When the engineer reloads the invisible gun it makes the game crash.
?

do you have the appropriate combo in your odf folder and the animation in your munged folder?
