I would say if your mod is over 200mb that you might want to have the staff help you "maximize the mod" if you will. Where the average joe would have their mod all zipped up at 250mb, the staff can show most folks who don't know the tricks how to shave anywhere from 50-100mb from that. A good example is the Convo Pack. Mav and I have a few tricks up our sleeve, and I was able to get my build at ~800mb, then Mav came along and shaved almost another 50mb off while adding even more content.
Long story short: If your mod is over 200mb, let's see if we can help you to trim your size down. If not you're more than welcome to upload it, but it makes everyone happy if the file size is as small as possible -- without losing content of course.

I can't upload any of Filefront's files because of the size limit. Will this be fixed anytime soon?

I think they fixed, or atleast raised it. I've been able to upload 7+ MB files, but I think the limit may be at about 10 MB right now.

Ok thanks. Chances are this mod will be between 150-200mb. Either that or I do a multi-part upload like Syth did with his BFP. Thanks Tean!

Tean, you have my xfire and cell. If the uploads arent working to 900 mb someone please let me know , last i checked everything is set to 900mb uploads. apache and the docman, the few reports I have seen are people getting timed out in ie sometimes (taken from watching chat) but the files should go up easily. Also I can upload things and erase file that were accidentally closed during upload (same name upload issue). I just need to know if its working properly.

I just tried to upload Karnage's Episode 3 Republic Sides for BF1 which comes in at 9.30MB and got this error message:
Warning: require_once(/home/gametoas/public_html) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/gametoas/public_html/components/com_docman/includes_frontend/upload.php on line 69
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/gametoas/public_html' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/gametoas/public_html/components/com_docman/includes_frontend/upload.php on line 69
At the moment anything above 8MB wont upload.

I don't use Internet Explorer, I use Google Chrome. But still, I get the same error message everyone is talking about. And the files I'm uploading are no bigger than 18mb.

I think Penguin just now might have found a fix for that 8mb limit.

Still have this problem, not only can I not upload past file names that have been canceled after upload, but I uploaded a file, canceled the submission, then tried to reupload it, and the problem persists.

Well, as of right now the upload limit is still 8 mb. If Guru has returned by now, whatever you did didn't work.

I'm not sure if there really is a validation aspect of the file submission process right now, can someone confirm that there is?
The reason I ask is because whenever I submit a file, I see it on the file list immediately
