DC-15S texture errors [Solved]

Post by Rekubot »

So I was making my Kashyyyk: Acharrio map, editing the sides tons, but never touching the DC-15S blaster carbine ODF file, due to me having finished it ages ago. Nor did I touch the TGA, MSH or OPTION files. I made a couple of side changes, munged as usual, and for no reason at all the carbine suddenly looked like this:

Now. I have done EVERYTHING I can think of to get the texture back to the way it was. I've checked the TGA files, I've moved the entire folder to a different map, I've reinstalled the MSH and TGA files (all file sizes were the same, dates and times modified were exactly the same). The weird thing is that I even put the files into a different map, stuck them in-game, and I still get the annoying skin. I no longer have any idea what to do. I'm sure that it isn't the MSH file itself, because I never touched it and I haven't had this problem before. Has anybody else come across this problem, or know how to solve it? Thanks in advance.

I assume that you meant hex-edit the MSH, because I told it to use different textures, renamed the textures, and it works! Seems like I always forget some kind of method. Thanks a bunch.

*SOLVED* (Why isn't everyone else's problems solved so fast? LoL.)
