Today i spended some time to found out if the Akkon Level is historical correct.
1. I dont found any Infos about that Red Cross Cathedral
2. the Placement could be to 90 % right.


red: Observation Towers as seen in the Movie above)
blue: Garrisson -Novum Regis- (placed like in the movie)
black:red cross cathedral (placed like in the movie)
white:harbor not there in 1191

Acre really does look accurate..

i tryed to find historical Pics and Drawings about the real look of Akkon (Acre) in 1191 or at least while or before the 3 crusade. but i phailed
I really want know if it looks like that in this Time.I need to explore WWW more Im massive burned from that game.I love such Storys.

@Alex - One Question about Assassins Creed: Is it difficult to play?

playing is not really difficulty but fighting.the crusaders are very strong rivals later in game
The Crusader fights are for me very stressfull.you need to work hard to kill them.they are never alone.my most rivals was over 10 Crusaders.after beaten them,i was very finished.
so if you can handle a 5 button mouse (to handle the many fight and blocking moves) and the standard ego Shooter keys it wouldnt be a Problem

How many FPS are you getting when you are up high Alex, I know it says something in the corner.. but don't know if its accurate because its jumbled up.

So im right,the cathedral is only fiction and i placed the garrisson wrong.it seems that the place ,where it stand in the past,wasnt there today.need to rework my google earth pic the days.

Fraps cut down a minimum of 30 Frames while making a movie.
So if i play in Full DX9 Settings without fraps i have 60-70 Frames.
With Fraps 25-40 Frames

I told beepa (fraps) before a time,about this problem with the shown frames in the pic.

Dear Alex,

Thanks for getting in touch. I have spoken with our developers about this problem and they have suggested that it appears that the game is only rendering to the screen within the letterboxed area. Due to this, the black border areas of the screen are not being refreshed which causes the framerate counter to appear as though it is drawing over the top of itself.
Our developers are currently investigating this issue and if we can locate a bug we will certainly fix it in a future release, however in the meantime you may want to try checking the graphics options in the game to see if you can disable the letterboxing mode. If you are unable to do this, the only other suggestion that I can offer is to disable the framerate counter if you would like to capture screenshots or video from your gameplay.

Hey Alex... I just noticed, the map from that site shows the "Tower of the Flies", just outside the harbor, I'm pretty sure, during the crusades, that tower (though it doesn't look it on their map) was a part of Acre's harbor fortifications, the tower itself built by Sala-ah-din(sp?), and was used by the templars as a dungeon late in the crusades, before they where finally removed from Acre by the Mamluks.

Portal owns, and once you have Portal, you can get the Source SDK, then you can get: Zombie Master, Hidden Source, and Pirates Vikings & Knights II, all great multiplayer online games based on the HL2 engine!

Yeah, those are great Source Mods... Caleb and I play them all the time XD

Its a mod for Half Life 2, you need any source game to run it. It is called Zombie master, loads of fun..

Yea, it's lots of fun, it's technicly free, as long as you have a Source Game, like Half Life 2, Portal, Orange Box, ect.
