you love the pain!

It´s not because you like to create new worlds objects or anything else wich came into your mind and imagination.
You don´t feel proud if someone likes your map and tell you so.

No the real reason is pain!
Remember the endless hours you try to create the map you want.
Remember the endles hours of bugfixing.
And once done you release the map and wait for realy bad reviews.

So let´s start a small contest about the worst reviews you got from the community.

Here are mine:

"Why does everyone love this map so much?...but it's so bland and ugly"

"man, all i can say is it stinks."

"in my opinion, MAF=Puke!Two Thumbs Down!"

"sucks for me"

"This thing screwed up my game "

well i got this:

Looking from the screenshots and from the description, this map sucks.

these "comments" make the mapper try harder to make better maps

il have to have a look but 1 bashing i got that springs to mind is a guy was really mad cos i had Imperials attacking Bestine (in my Tatooine:Imperial Ground Assault) ,when, in his mind (and in SWG) Bestine is an IMperial controlled city.

I havent released anything yet but I can only say, that I love to feel the feeling of endless work - and see it work

lol - I think its like Parenthood you 'do all the hard work' (and that's funny too:P ) and then you 'see' your 'hard work' growing

This one was kinda mean:

ok this map STUNK! im serious, i mean ya ya 2 new classes, great great, think about this majin, when im a Dark Jedi i cant use force lightning to quickly kill a Jedi, but a Jedi easily kills me with Force Push, and when i'm a Jedi the Dark Jedi kills me easily with Force Lightning! WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH THIS MAJIN!!!

That one was me... hey, it's opinion. I get plenty of flack for my maps. Also, I 'm a big fan of Rends' other work.

well,on the map's i leave feedback for, i leave good feedback or if it's not such a hot map u could say pretty good just need's a little work here or there, what is the point of breaking some one down w/ negative feedback? every one try's there best and a lot of work goes in to makeing a map i know,im make one my self and when a persone spend's 4 hr's on a map the last thing's he whant's to see is negative feedback for the map,if u dont have any thing nice to say,don't say any thing at all.

that is the way i feel.

i have an answer: the person is not a good player, or was playing on hard.

Well, I do have to say that there are some over-rated maps but I'm not saying any names.

Coruscant is the only one I can think of as over rated, becuase I was the one who over rated it. Its very good becuase of the all new content, and it has the same 'feel' as other maps. Its BW quality IMHO(vehicles sould be removed for serious competition)


I have never seen any other maps 'rated' at all really. . .

One thing that is the most important: ITS FREE! NO COMPLAINING!


But since I paid money for SWBF. . .

lol, the one where it screwed up his game... Either he's really unlucky (which I doubt) or he didn't read the readme and/or didn't know how to install it properly and messed things up

Not like Gammorean Camp was a bad map its just I didn't entend my map to be anything like it.
I love the ppl who lower the self esteem.

1.OMG can we please stop with all the Kashyyyk maps geez. Let;s start making other maps like the Kamino Map which was suppose to be in BF1 that had vehicles. Or how about some different Geonosis maps or better yet a Naboo Escape Map like in Episode I. I'm getting tired of seeing all these Kashyyyk maps and the funny thing is only 1 has the Episode 3 Clones which rocks. Basically what i'm saying is, EVERYONE STOP MAKING KASHYYK MAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!madAaargh!!!

2.I hate to say it but, i uninstalled it because it crashes every time i play it.

3.I tell you what the problem is...i download the map and everything seems to go fine...i set all files to the add0n folder...okay i am done and i start starwars battlefront....and then...CryHe says BUFFER OVERRUN ERROR!!! and then i am getting mad and i destroy the pc and everything in my room!!!Aaargh!!!mad

dos somebody know the answer to this problem???
