Hi there, it's me vegati. I know I haven't been on for a while but that is mainly because of my obsession of making games (I can never seem to stay on one thing for too long) So if you too make video games then post them here! (No I don't mean MODS I mean actual video games)

My friends made a couple of WASD games a while back. They were actually really fun.

I used GameMaker in a college course once. Did a Mega Man game for my final project. Don't have the files anymore though. That was a few computers back.

I haven't heart of Gamemaker for a long time. First time I tried it, I was 10 years old. I'm downloading your game and gamemaker+tutorials right now.
This should prove to be interesting.

Wow, I'm surprised how much attention this topic got and how many of my fellow gametoasters were aware of game maker.

I tried my hand at Visual Basic C++ game programming back when I was 10.

I used to use The Games Factory to make games, but other than that, nothing.

And I'm putting together a little website right now to showcase all of my old games. Not sure why, I'm just bored and want to design a website because that's my idea of fun

In the past 3 years, I have made some simple games using C++ (my only success being in text-base), GameMaker, and some program my little brother and I bought called "Video Game Tycoon." None of them are all too good, but good practice for my future major in Video Game Development, eh?

Do you seriously plan on majoring, or is it just one of those things that everyone wants to but won't do?

That is my serious plan. I've been visiting a few colleges around my area and so far, I'm getting some pretty good results. And gosh darnit, SOMEBODY has to make BFIII sometime in the next decade .

I think this would be a good place to post instead of making a new topic, but does anyone know if theres a free game engine thats good for FPS's?
