Nintendo 64?
I know that all of you are into the newest games (Like Mass Effect 2).... but does anyone still play the classic Nintendo 64? I have one with all the classic games (Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Goldeneye, Banjo-Kazooie, etc.). Is there anyone out there who still plays Nintendo 64?

She wanted to just give it to me, but I insisted that I pay for it, but she wouldn't go any higher than $15.

What? That's not a rip-off, that's a great deal, considering that nobody plays the console, and that alot of the games on that system can now be downloaded on the Wii Shop channel.Fierfek wrote:Are you serious?!?!?!?! Wow, you got a nice deal. To buy that online would cost about $70. I spent about $90 getting my console and games and 4 controllers together.RogueKnight wrote:Two controllers.Fierfek wrote:Are you serious?!?!?!?! Your friend just got ripped off big-time! @ Ping: Well, that's a good deal if you want the console (which I do).

Re: Nintendo 64?
I still have my working N64 from my childhood. I still occasionally use it, but seeing as it's such a hassle to unplug the Wii to use it, I usually just re-download the games on the Wii with point cards I get throughout the year.
My favorite games on the N64 were Mario 64, which has been replaced by the DS version, Kirby and the Crystal Shards, Smash Bros., Mario Kart 64, which were bought on the Virtual Console, and Pokemon Stadium 2, which has, unfortunately, been rendered 70% useless due to that fact that half of my generation 2 games fell victim to the save battery malfunction.

I still have it, although I haven't played it in ages. I have lots of fond memories from lots of good games - Mario 64, SSB, Episode 1: Racer, Rogue Squadron, and the list goes on. I should dust it off (literally) and relive my childhood next time I'm home for break.

Yep, same here. Though I still play Banjo Kazooie from time to time.Fusion wrote:I still have my working N64 from my childhood. Re: Nintendo 64?
Honestly I liked Banjo-Tooie more than Banjo-Kazooie, but they were both ridiculously fun. Yeah, I still play my 64 occasionally, Rogue Squadron, and all the other Star Wars games for that matter, were my favorite. I especially loved the last level of Shadows of the Empire, such awesome music.
I always wanted the Spider-Man game they had for the 64, the PC version was awesome.
