When you request something and end up doing it yourself and start asking for modding advice, it is no longer a request and does not belong here in this topic. I suggest you start a new topic in the
SWBF2 modding forum, which is where such discussions should belong. Got that, buddy?
Slime615 wrote:If you have a rpoblem with that, then fine, but keep it to your self.
Oh no, I have
a problem with more than just that. But yes, I will keep them to myself. Thanks for the friendly advice.

I have a Modle and a texture for a weapon I use in Game. I have a fried whop also likes to MOD but He Mods KOTOR.
He would like to use my weapon, but. KOTOR Only uses Models and Textures in mdl/.mdx/.txi Form. Is there a way to convert tha Model to this form so He can Use it?

Thanks for the info.
I will give it a go, but is there any chance Some one could do it for me? Its in Msh form, works perfectly well, already enveloped and exported (as a msh). I dont have KOTOR On my computor, so I cant test if it works....

an enveloped weapon?
anyway, models for kotor apparently have to be set up in gmax which no one uses around here. i think youll have better chances of finding someone who can do it on kotor modding forums.

Did I say enveloped? opps. Wrong phrase.
Ill have a look around the Kotor Forums.
Do you mean the ones in the Game Modding Other, here:
forums/viewforum.php?f=53
Or somewhere else?

I've got a request for the Xbox mod -- I need a tested, working sound lvl with just the Alliance AAC-1 (combat speeder) in it. I'm fed up with working on sounds. I can only get ambient soundspaces to work, but I know existing setups using already existing in-game sounds work, thus the request.
Oh, and thanks to whoever can hook me up.

Hi,
can someone do 3 jedis for me??
You start with this one:
than you add a Kama to the Jedi like Starkillers or Vaders
Color should be fix to the brown of the Jedirobe on the first pic.
now you add this cape:
so here are the 3 Variants of the jedi:
1. You stop after step 3
2. you add this Helmet: you can use Devis one of Clonecommander Keller and do some changes. the cowl isn't over the Helmet, its behind the helmet. Add an shoulder Armor like this one
3. The cowl will be over the Helmet
thx very much

Unfortunately, the collision of the rotating parts of a turret is lost if a model was exported with MshEx, but I really want my model with collision because the moving parts are pretty big. So, I need someone to export
this with one of the old XSI Foundations.
Thanks in advance.

I hav a question, but did not see any point in creating a new thread for it.
Can I use Cloth on Weapon Models?

Well, cloth works with props and player models. You can try it yourself to see if works with weapon models. The ODF parameter ClothODF doesn't seem to be ClassLabel specific, so it might just work. And once you've tried it, and it does turn out to actually work, you can boldly claim a spot in SWBF2 modding history.

Nope. FragMe said he might use
tentacles to make a whip, but never did(to my knowledge).
Very different.

i think using tentacles would be more sufficient because cloth has no weigth and a long clothstrip would probably not really carry over the "force" of an attack because most saberattacks are long swings.
a tentaclewhip would act more heavy but you can only have 5 bones per chain so a really long whip would probably look a little blocky.
the problem of having a simulated whip is that it will most likely move through the unit often in attacks. that was the problem in which manderek ran, when he made a whipweapon.
