@Darthslim, Thank you! There is a unit with the M16, and two more with chain-guns with different levels of power.

@RSL, Thank you very much! I'm trying to craft a chain-gun that will be held like a rifle.

@Icemember, Thanks for those images! Those could come in handy.

@Par3210, Hmmm, yeah I think I'll do that. Like reskin Count's cape.

Thank you to everyone who has offered help, suggestions, etc. It is an oner to have so many people interested in this map. Thank you.

No, thank YOU for making this awesome map! And giving me advice, Now I think I'm a noob... -.- So thanks General_Nate!
One more suggestion - I wouldn't have 2 units with the same weapon, even if it's a different level of power. I'd give one a sniper rifle maybe, or a melee weapon.

Yeah, I'd like to give a sniper to a resistance troop, cause I don't find Terminaters as a 'sniper' type... As for the melee, I'd like to keep it as guns for weapons.

Well I still think you should have varied units on both sides. Having the same unit makes it a bit more boring (no offence) But still it's your map so do whatever you want with it.

Looks good, but it seems as though she's holding the sword correctly. If you look close enough it shows that the sword is actually past her hand.

Yeah, I saw that. I'm shure how to fix it though...

If a giant metal robot were shooting at me, I don't know that I'd rush at it with a sword. But that's just me. In the movies, the terminators were really hard to kill, and they used all kinds of guns and explosives and stuff. I don't know if a sword would do much good.

Yeah. I know. I died a lot playing as her. I dont think I'll add any points to unlock. However, she it good when she blocks. Whenever I come across a Terminator with a chain-gun, I just block, and the Terminator ends up shooting himself.

Unless it's a lightsaber.

Well, lightsabers can't block bullets.

In my opinion, that vibrosword just looks out of place in this setting. And it, a sword, can block so-called bullets like a lightsaber? That's just wrong! Nate, I suggest just sticking to guns. If you want variety in the weapons, add in some rocket and grenade launchers for both factions. Perhaps a couple of prototype futuristic weapons too, like a plasma rifle for Skynet's machines and an EMP launcher of some sort for the Resistance. Just a few suggestions. This is after all based on Terminator. :)

Wrong, that's just weird in Battlefront. :funny2: :funny2:

@AQT: Yeah, your right. I'm kinda missing the point. I just thought it would be cool having a sword.
Of corse, the real reason was to stop Par from nagging at me... Just joking!

So about that, what do you guys think of maybe a Terminator that can shield it's self?

Lol, I was just thinking it might have been good, a melee unit is a change to the range weapon units.
Sorry if I was nagging... :P
I can't get that vibroblade working.... care to share how? Lol, sry for asking for so much, but I really wanted that unit for WW2 Battlefield - Prison Break mode...

I don't think they should have shields, just maybe give them a lot more health than the resistance units but also make them a lot slower. And if that makes the map unbalanced then give the resistance more reinforcements.

Is it possible to make them pretty hard to take down unless you shoot them in the head? Like, the best way to take down a Terminator model would be to damage it's neural net processor, of course, depending on the unit type used by Skynet. I have a JA Model of a T-1 (predecessor to the HK tanks) and an HK Aerial unit model. If someone could convert these, that'd be fantastic. Would help Nate out, I'm sure. Yes, T: Salvation did have T-1's and HK's (I'm not spoiling, really, because it's just talking about units. I'm not talking about scenes and giving the movie away, so I think it's fine. Tell me to hide it if you don't think so.), so it's not far fetched. Anyone want to take this offer to help Nate out? Of course, I could reskin them to resemble more how they looked in T:Salvation.

Everyone knows to give credit to the author's though. I'll get a credit list to someone if they want. Nate, if you accept this, I'll send someone the models to convert if someone wants to do such a thing.

Yeah ok, it was just a thought.

Wait wait wait... you mean those fly-y ships seen in Salvation and Sarah Conner!? Oh dude! I would love that! I was just going to model one on my own, but that would do just nicely. And even the tanks would look good. So yes! I do except! What file extension is it? I might be able to convert them myself via Milkshape. (Once I pay 35$. My trial expired...)
