Ya I'm taking a break from My Dathomir Pack (Exile's revenge 90% done and Space 75% done) for a while to make this small map.

Gungans VS Trade Federation.

Story:
Go Watch Ep.1

Sounds great! It'll be interesting to see how the Gungans fare without any ranged weapons.

I like the screenshot of the hill, by the way, looks exactly like the shot in the movie.

yes it was, and it is in the Conver pack. can some of the STAPs fly like starfighters? they could you know

my only complaint is the terraion there is no variation and texture or objects. Yes i know it is a plains but maybe some foilage or rocks could help to make it look more real maybe a forest on the side too.

I second that.

Also, there was a lake and some woods and stone statues at the edge of the battlefield. It might help with the scenery.

The 1st wave was Mygeeto maps,2nd was Geonosis Maps, 3rd was Hoth maps, now its Naboo's turn but I gotta say, these Naboo maps are beautiful!

I have a question, where would that huge booma mine be thrown out? It's....huge... :shock: ...like the movie :D

you would have to make new meshes to add and also reposition some of the existing meshes on the ewok catapult.

@Depredation: am i sensing a trend of trends? i wonder whats next, polis massa maps?

And the terrain will be changed. It's still naboo terrain but I just replaced the 4 yavin with the 4 naboo.

The Catapault is a good Idea, might use it actually.

And the booma mine has mine animations and is placed like a mine not a grenade :wink:

EDIT: Oh the personal energy sheild I thought you meant the Fambaa. :ooops: I'll give you credit.

And after that, it'll probably be back to another Geonosis trend. How many Geonosis trends have there been now? Three? Four?

Back on-topic, I agree with the idea for the catapult. Also, I remember the boomas had their own kind of weird sound in the movies as they bounced around. Will that be in this map?

Truth. You'd be surprised how much ambiance what looks like just a little pimple in ZE can add to the map. Whip out that height tool and vary it up a tic.

I know a simple way you could vary up the height in a large area EGG_Guts. In the first movie the trade federation army attempted to Assault the Gungan's position with AATs from atop a sloping hill which led into the plains, when they failed they sent MTTs to launch battle-droids at the bottom of that hill. Just put a nice pretty, long hill at the edge of the map, it'll make your good looking map look even better. Otherwise, very cool map, can the booma mine take out an entire AAT?!?

EDIT: Doh! Wait you already have the hill, I got to pay attention to the pics more. Oh well... I guess great minds think alike. :P
