W.I.P Dogfighting Death Star II

I have started work on my next dogfighting map-Death Star II.This will be a long project for me.I want the map to have dogfighting around the capital ships and to have a Death Star with tunnels leading to the main reactor.Still working out the tricks I can use to get this to work.Here are some early screen shots of the work so far...

Looks cool man. I like how the Death Star II is coming along. Not quite there just yet, but definitely looking good so far. My only suggestion that I really stress for any Battle of Endor map, is, of course, put the planet below, not in the distance. It was below them in the movies, after all... >.>

Keep up the good work anyway. I can tell this is going to be a great map.

Use the Felucia sky and reskin it with some Endor textures.

110f3, I posted this in the "Request A Map/Character Section", but what do you think about "Dogfighting" through and around the beginning phase of the Death Star. Like at the end of "Revenge Of The Sith" when Emperor Palpatine, Vader, and Tarkin are looking out at the construction of the Death Star. With maybe the possibility of having the Geonosian fighters fighting off the beginning forces of the Rebellion. Maybe Bail Organa and his forces as a storyline. That way you could add the Tantive IV. Just a thought. Maybe something to think about for "Dogfighting Death Star III", the Trilogy. I thought it would be a cool thing to fly a star fighter through and around the construction of the Death Star. But like I said, just a thought. Later

The Rebellion wasn't organized at that point, they didn't know about the Death Star, and the Geonesians were no longer involved.

11of3, I hope to God you know what you're doing. Because this could this could easily become a disaster.

Dogfighting Tantive would be fun, now to think of it (but in need of a rebel fighter spawn area)...

Pardon my ignorance as far as when and what happened in the Star Wars universe. But I believe that in the beginnings of the construction of the Death Star it was the Geonosians at work, and that is the time period I was going for here. The beginnings of the Alliance and "The Delegation Of Two-Thousand" started during ROTS, so my idea of having someone fight against the Geonosians and their construction was just a quick thought, and wasn't something I thought through thoroughly. WoW! Say that ten times fast! I can honestly say that Bail Organa wasn't happy with what was happening at the end of ROTS, so as for the storyline, it can't be too far off. Plus, you see people in here all the time not sticking to the "Star Wars plotline", and I also believe that there leaves a lot of room for the Expanded Universe. But as for a map, the main idea was to "Dogfight" through the construction of the new Death Star. I thought it would just look fantastic. So as for the storyline, maybe we can leave that up to someone else.... But I just thought the idea was cool. Later

JK, reinforcements can be any number, but max units on a side on the field at the same time is 300

Good gravy! That is GREAT! Your accuracy to the movies is already right on. I look forward to see how you'll do the reactor chamber/tunnels (I wish AI planning wasn't 2D :x it would be the greatest to have dogfights through them.

Is it just me, or are the other star destroyers missing generator lobes?
Oh, and will the ships be able to move? I mean, it'd be cool to have them move like in the shipped Space Mygeeto and the Campaign Space levels...its just kinda ugly for them to sit there...
