Looks nice, a little bit too dark in some places making those droids impossible to see until they shoot at you.

Can you place some screenshots of yellow laser bolts?

Yeah, I got the beta. I'll try to get feedback as soon as possible.
EDIT: Are you sure this is a beta? I see now bugs right now, besides thje fact that the CIS were winning for a a few minutes, although at one CP you spawn in the middle of a thing of ruins. That's not a necessary fix, though, cuz you can easily get out.

The reinforcement count is very very turbulent; it is completely dependent on which CPs you own – I'm not just saying that lol. It can change very drastically. Send me bug stuff in your review guys. thanks! btw, the CIS have more troops to start out with. It balances it out a bit more.

wow the objects are good and the placement of them are good. i have to admit after the first 2 plays (cw and gcw) you know the map and get tied after a while but the skins are good and the connection between the buildings in the main city ae good and its nice to see some ai up there sniping you down. i rate this map 8/10 just because it gets a bit boring after a while. maby expand the inside of the caves but i like this map.

Dang, Speck. This map was great. Thanks for the beta.

I feel bad 'cause I have a ton of stuff in my report, some of which probably aren't bugs, but features, anyway:
Null's Report wrote:
Hidden/Spoiler:
Balance:
GCW - I was able to win as both sides, as much as 30 (me) - 0 (AI).

Gameplay:
Easy to die as either side (as with most of Speck's maps).
In the underground base (Rep/Imp spawn), troopers get caught behind the computers.
Snipe nodes lead troopers up the stairs, then they don't do anything (they just sit there, even if their CP is taken).

Map Consruction:
Remove some small debris (scattered on the floor) to decrease lag.
Remove some large debris (in/on the two main buildings) to decrease lag.
Make the terrain variation in the valley smoother.
Recolor/desaturate icicles in the valley to match map lighting (they look too bright).
The bridges leading to the city have some minor seams.
All Rhen Var props/buildings/etc. flash dark grey and light grey when I step on the bridges as either side. Lighting issue maybe?

Sides:
CW - The Republic's Galactic Marine is easy to spot and snipe, maybe replace it with a grayscale/reskin of your Camotrooper?
GCW - The Imperial's Commander is also easy to spot and snipe. * I'd be happy to make you a skin for this one.

My Pro's:
I like the map construction and general layout. It's fresh, new, and welcoming (although I certainly wouldn't live there, lol). You can fight both close quarters and long-ranged in the city, the valley, and the bases alike. The bases look cramped and full of junk, as underground bases should be, lol. I loved the layout of everything. The sides look great too.

My Con's:
I have an quad core processor with 3.25 GB of RAM and an ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro video card. I don't know how good a computer mine is compared to others, and how others would see the game, but I got lag. A lot of lag, most of the time it was frame by frame, and the funniest thing was: I could look toward the end of the map and I'd be fine, but as soon as I turn toward the general direction of the city, the lag came. I suggest getting rid of some debris models like you have above CP's 2 and 7. They caused the most lag. Other than that, I have no problems. :)
I'll come up with more bugs when noticed. BTW, did any beta testers get lag on this map? I just want to know if its my comp.

Wow, really great map! The lighting was good. The skins were good. But there are some things that you could probably change/add to the map before releasing it.

1. Since there are custom sides, you may wanna change the Galactic Marine to a different guy, and you may wanna do the underhand chaingun instead.
2. I think a Republic Commando would be good for this map.

heheh, i forgot to mention that if you don't have a good gaming machine, turn shadows down.

I'm extremely happy that it's balanced for more than just me!

I will provide more beta info, but what I noticed was that the Jabba's palace assets were missing some textures such as the fruit bowl on the table and a lamp- type thing in the corner.

I fixed my lag! Hooray! All I had to do was change the lighting qaulity from high to med. [slapface]

So don't play with high lighting quality.

Besides what Grev said, Jabba's Palace textures, I saw some clones/imps get stuck behind the computers at cp6 and at the walls on the second floor of cp7. Just wondering, did you change the saturation of the icicles?

This map is great, thanks for letting me test it!

I reduced the icicles' texture's saturation and it didn't make a difference.. I also tried darkening it. no real difference.

I fixed the spawn problem at Cp4, changed around some hintnodes.. and yeah, I noticed in the base the Jet trooper class (for both IMP and REP) don't seem to obey the planning... Don't know why.....

speck the jet trooper and dark trooper are hover change the planning so hover can use it then it should work....
