Since the original thread was full of broken links, the first post was extremely outdated and AlexSecura is gone, AQT suggested I could make a new topic. So this is a sort of V2.0 of the "Links to SWBF2 Maps + Mods + Source" topic.

This thread is the easiest way to find SWBF2 maps and mods. If you're looking for a map or mod, follow the instructions bellow and if it still doesn't work, post in this topic



Step 1:
Try to find your stuff here:

SWBF2 Released Maps & Mods
GameWatcher (formerly StrategyInformer)
Moddb
LoneBullet
or download the map archive (check the end of this post)

SWBFFiles and user pages are gone, direct links to submitted files are gone with it.
You can browse an archived version of SWBFFiles here.

If you still can't find what you're looking for, browse the collection:

Step 3:
If still unsuccessful:
-Send a PM to the modder (if still around)
or
-Post a reupload request in this thread




The SWBF-2 Map Archive:
This is a Excel file that contains nearly EVERY links for EVERY SWBF2 map/mod ever released (+1050 files!)
How it works:

-The archive is separated into 11 tabs:

• Conquest: Conquest maps
• Campaign maps: Rare maps, with a campaign/objective mode
• Space: Space maps
• RPG: RPG-styled/based maps
• Kotor: Maps with the Knights of The Old Republic I and II theme
• Racing: Racing map, mostly open or canyon maps
• Hero Assault: Maps with a Hero Assault mode
• SWBF-1 conversions: Maps converted from SWBF1, often improved or customized
• SWBF1 Conversion pack: More informations on the ConvoPack, its maps, its modes, its heroes, its features, etc.
• Map Packs: Packs with few maps in it
• Game Sides Mods: Mods that change the sides of the game.

-Each tab contains a list of map, with the following details:

• The map name with the version
• The 3-letters code of the map
• The name of the modder or the modding team
• The download link - (Sometimes) an alternative download link @ old GT download section / MegaUpload / MediaFire

This map is known as different names; but I think this is the one you are looking for:

So if the link starts with http://files.filefront.com it's certainly nonworking.

Actually, there are some links in the archive that start with files.filefront.com that are still working. Space Geonosis, for example.
EDIT: Which reminds me, I'm also looking for Dragon's Lair Nebulum.

Sites like Gamefront have to remove old, unpopular files from their server. If they kept every file ever uploaded to their servers, they'd be out of room very quickly. They don't have infinite server space. If you have a Gamefront account, which is free, they'll keep the file. They just can't afford to keep every file uploaded by unregistered users.

Yup, that's the correct download link for that map. Try unzipping it with 7-Zip. That should work.

Hi, i want to download the battlefront project mod, but every time i follow the link to filefront there stand that the file is not found. know somebody where i can get this mod? (sorry for my english)
