Sight distance and grenade launcher question

Some objects begin to disappear when you look at them from a far distance. The Corellian corvette is one of the objects, who disappear first. Do I have to change something in the sky or space files of my map or is it the corvette's files which need to be edited?

Also I am working on a grenade launcher, which fires grenades with a timer. I replaced the ord file of an mortar launcher with the one of a timebomb, but it crashed.

i don't know about the first question but for the second i've actually made something like that.

my question though is: do you want a visible set of numbers counting down or no numbers?

no numbers would be easy as the charge shot for the mortar launcher fires what you want but with a shorter timer, all you would need to do is add a longer lifespan.

if you wanted numbers then i would suggest making the gun a dispenser and messing with the gun model and animations so it looks and fires like a gun and then adding some velocity to the timebomb.
