Making new era luas

Post by Jawaraider »

This has maybe been asked before, but if you wanna make hoth CW xl,
how do you make the lua? Should I copy the XXXg_xl and name it XXXc_xl and change the units and sides to rep and cis? Do I have to write the lua name in some req file or something? Please reply if you know.

Ok Ill try it

edit: Ok I downloaded the source files and installed the mod. the mod works great, but how do you modify them? I placed data_bf2 in the modtool folder where it belongs, and I modified a lua. How do I munge/apply changes? btw should you write READDATAFILE dc:side\bf2 and then use for example jed_dark_01 and then rep_inf_ep3_rifleman without READDATAFILE\rep? They all bellong to the bf2 side, right?

Do a search on the forums. Its pretty easy. I'd explain but I dont have time now.

Basically it involves making a few simple .reqs, a lua (can just copy your x_con.lua and add a few lines), and then of course changing the addon script.
