Game crashed after adding reversed saber

Ok I downloaded a reversed lightsaber and tried to give it to count dooku but the game crashed everytime. help


OR can someone give me a link to a reversed lightsaber

when you have a problem, you always have to post detailed information on what exactly you did aswell as the bfront2log and ideally the file that you changed. you should only have to change the modelname in the lightsabers odffile to use thereversed saber.

I downloaded from there. their were 2 files

:imp_inf_weap_lightsabre.tga
:reversed_hilt.msh

ok what i did was opened up count dooku's odf and i change the weapon to reversed_hilt.

After That I munged.

Then I play the game it loads but when i go to select a side it frezzes up

you should read the gettingstarted.doc in the modtool documentation folder. odf (object definition) files determine the properties of all gameobjects. msh (mesh) files are the model files that contain a "physical" model of something and tga (targa) files are images that are used as textures for the models. the name of the weapons in unit odfs are names of odf files which determine the properties of the weapons. within the weapons odf file you can find the geometryname which determines which msh file is used as the weapons physical model.

I have a question how do you change the the trail color. i know about the numbers in the odf but where do you find the numbers for the colors.

The numbers for the colors are red, green, and blue. Just change the values for a higher or lower amount of that color. For example, a value of 255 14 12 would be very red.
