This is the first time I've used XSI.
I want to know how to export my models to make them work with SWBF2.
I have version 4.2

Do you have the Mod Tool version? If you do, you can't use the XSIADDON file in the BF2_ModTools to export to .msh (the type of model the SWBF series uses). You'll either have to ask someone to export them for you or you get the 30 day trial for 4.2, then 5.0 (am I right?), and then 5.1 (again, are the version names right?). I know Pandemic once tried to get Avid or whatever to make a .msh plugin, but that didn't work, so tough luck...

I don't think the 30 day trial works either.

No, the thirty-day trials will work - for thirty days.

Yeah but if you look at his post hes saying that he's using Mod Tools, I don't care about what the other person posting their problems with the 30 day trial, just the person asking for help who created the thread.

Well, phazon_elite told him that in the second post in the topic. One would assume that he already knows this.

I agree with Mini' because he clearly asks for an exporter for XSI Mod Tools in his later post - so that's why I doubt he read and understood it.

See?
My reply to that question is: There's a 'tutorial' at filefront called modelling.zip if you search under SWBF1. it'll teach you the basics and enough so there shouldn't really be any more question. The Only difference is that you should use the SWBF2 Exporter (coming with the SWBF2 Mod Tools) if you want it to get in SWBF2

And that's why there is Milkshape and BConstructor. Also, where can you get Milkshape, and is it free?

milkshape3d.com and its $30 a copy and you can only do static models like props, no unit models or animated vehicles but i think you can do non animated vehicles.
