Where can I get the BF2142 Beta?

Filefront.com You need a key though, and supposedly they are all out. They might have changed it now but that was the last I heard.

get in line and download the files then ask someone for their beta key in pms. also note there will be a gt dedicated beta server when you login hehe.

Awesome Guru i had been waiting for this beta for months annd was totally pissed when crapplanet made it "subscriber only". haha ironic that those idiots didnt make the cd keys non-transferable, I was about to sign up just to get this game, thats how desperate I was..... Now I can honestly say that I will never ever subscribe to fileplanet. And Ill never let my children subscribe to it either They just lost two customers.

you know yoyam, you dont need to pay to sign up. The free subscription allows you to get the files as well xD..

Lol yea i know I just dont like them cuz I think theyre greedy. The fact that they secure entire betas under their site bugs me to no end. Doesnt that seem monopolistic to anyone else?
Idk maybe im crazy, all I know is that I don't like FilePlanet. Id bump that up to hate if Fileplanet were actually smart enough to enforce the beta monopoly they try to have on Bf2142.

Oh and Areneline you could bet that a publically posted CD key is just a lawsuit waiting to happen, from EA and Fileplanet. That would suck.

If we do that, everyone googling for "Battlefield 2142 Beta Key" would get here, causing a lot of traffic, then the Serial I have would be.. "overused."

its one thing to hex edit the beta or post stuff like pics./movies from it or information but i dont think the key needs to be made public. [GT]owns is good for now.

Gotcha, I kinda wondered about that, but didn't pay it much mind, but you're right, that would cause trouble...

Really looking forward to this game it will be a mega hit.Would love to try the Demo/BETA but a massive download and i only got limited bandwidth so i may wait til OCTOBER which is only a month away(more like December my birthday before i get it)So i may wait til the demo is released some time soon..

4 those who missed/are going to miss the beta around Sept30 or Oct1st will be the demo. And if you use/used the EA downloader you can get the demo 1 day early.

LoL, at least we'll be getting it at some point. I'm saving up for a Nintendo Wii so I won't be able to get the full game as soon as it comes out (plus Company of Heroes, LoL). I'll have to rely on the demo and listen jealously while everyone discusses their mods for it .

I dont get it, how can you miss the beta?

Is it tied to a certain date, upon which time it stops working?

I have the installer on my desktop, i just need the cd key.
