This is a simple tutorial for munging without visualmunge, I always use this method when munging small changes, it saves lots of time. For this tutorial will be munging side rep

1. Go to data_***/_BUILD/SIDE/REP and run the munge.bat file in there

(It works the same for other folders, the key is running the munge.bat that is in the BUILD folder for whatever you are changing)

2. Go to data_***/_LVL_PC/SIDE and copy the rep.lvl

(You need to copy the lvl file that you are editing)

3. Place this in addon/***/data/_LVL_PC/SIDE (You need to override the lvl file you are using)
This will replace the old rep.lvl with your new one.

4. Have fun!

This is a simple tutorial but I hope it helps some people out! Happy Modding! :D

I don't know whether the fact your tutorial is a lot shorter than mine is a good thing or not.

On one hand, it's probably easier. On the other, it's not as in-depth and overly specific.

Yes, I made mine short because it does not NEED to be specific, it is so really simple. I find that shorter tutorials encourage me more to do something, it seems less scary and daunting.

Yeah, I can see that. As I mentioned on that post, I had little time to make the tutorial. Hospitals are really great at eating your free time. So my tutorial ended up being a bit sloppy and overdone I suppose.

Also, it's somewhat an unspoken courtesy that the OP* doesn't ask for their tutorial topic to be FAQed. Usually someone in the topic will request it, or the staff decides to do it on their own. Not that it really matters in the end.

It is nice to see I'm not the only person here who manually munges their mods here on GT.

Anyway, I digress. Peace.
