Nice shots, sky, although, I'm with Nihillo, I like the stock one better. Not because it's accurate, though. No offense, but yours just doesn't look that great.

It looks good for me, the stock one bored me...

Looks pretty good, oh and for future reference Corellia is spelled well as I spelled it, and Galidraan is just how I spelled it there  .

Thanks Bob....can never get them right.

Anyway a few new things:

The (newer) LD FP icons. Left to right, top to bottom they are:
Bombard, Pulse, Well, Lightning, Curse, Push, Wave, Venom.
Most icons derived from the charge up effects.

Wow, nice job on those icons! They all look really well because of the uniform appearance. (btw, have you received the updated version of my map?)

Wow, love the custom icons, they all look really neat. Nice pics too.

They look nice, but having not seen them in game I am concerned that for a new user they may be too uniform to differentiate between.

I took a second look at it, while imagening I was playing a game and desperetaly needed the right force power. I think most of them are different enough to recognize them (mostly because of the difference of red/blue edges and black/white background) , I'd only suggest to take a second look at the icons of "Pull" and "Push", they do look a lot like eachother.

I wasn't saying that they couldn't be told apart eventually, but to someone starting out (believe me, it's better to make something intuitive if possible) they won't be easily told apart. They will think "force push, force push... it's a box with a starburst in the center OH CRAP they all look like that." It won't help that they'll be much smaller icons ingame, too.

Ooh, on that bike.
EDIT:
Oops, that's a Dutch saying. It means (what I was trying to say):
Ooh, you meant it that way! I hadn't looked at it like that yet.

Yes, I agree with you on that. (though I also agree with Nihillo's comment below, some may not be so observant)

"Well", "Curse" and "Bombard" are the only icons I cannot logically associate with a Force Power, they are not very representative of what they actually do; though with some practice, I may simply learn that "Bombard" is that little puff of dark smoke, "Well" is the shining thing and "Curse" is a red version of said shining thing. I'm not a casual observer though, some may find it harder to understand what the icons represent and that is a problem, as Maveritchell pointed out.

Nice icons, by the way.

@mswf: yep got your map like the new version, it hasn't been put in yet though (still making some stuff for it like prison ships flying around overhead and more foliage).

Regarding Icons: Originally had icons that were way more different (want me to show them?) But they were kind of non-uniform and I figured using the charge up effects for each power would make them more so.
Push and Pulse (not pull, there isn't a 'pull') are similar, but they're the only one likely to cause problems since no jedi/dark jedi has more than three force powers. Curse looks like that because (a) chargeup effect and (b) the curse looks a lot like that when its dropped. Bombard should be changed to a pic of the projectile (showing trail), pulse could be too I guess.
@Mav: no offense meant, but if you hadn't already shown them in the BFU/DT thread I would have had trouble telling DT force powers apart the first few times I used it.

None taken; in fact I am mentioning this simply because of my experience here - even though I chose icons with clear iconographic differences (i.e. they were clearly different representations at full size), because of the size they show up on the screen a lot of those are mitigated. My concern is that here, with even less differentiation between icons, the same will happen only to a higher degree. (In fact that is probably why Pandemic ditched using the icons I used - some of "mine" were their unused icons - because it was easier to do something clear like a hand with an arrow.)

It's just a nitpick and like I said, I'm sure it won't be a persistent problem, but I think it's good advice (and I might have given it to myself in retrospect, too) to have more intuitive icons. I obviously can't say what they'll look like ingame or how quickly and easily one can get used to them, so I could be completely wrong, too. I just know you want to do a really good job and I'm not concerned about making suggestions on the bigger things (which I trust you have easily under control), so it's just the minor polishing details I'll add a few notes to. :)
(still making some stuff for it like prison ships flying around overhead and more foliage).
You may want to take a look at the Raxus Prime assets, there's a skydome ship in there that would probably work well.

New screens! First:

Ark Mion. "Misty dawn" condition. Still have to add sun for this condition. Ark Sin will be visible in the sky in the "clear daylight" condition.

Fai'Kaal. After lots of painful editing of paths, its in decent shape.

Should have screens of the new and improved (by me and mswf) Ark Sin, and Catacran too, up soon. :)

That's very impressive, somehow it reminds me of Maloss, but a tad less dark.

1st shots of in-game Catacran. Sky, fx, lighting and a few props definitely need adjusting, but it seems good so far.
Gameplay is a lot like that of other tight interior maps eg Tantine IV and Big L (not as open as death star).
