You need all msh's and all tga's of the objct in your msh folder. and you need all odf's in your odf older. Than you have to place the odf on your map.

Also, dont place a object by a msh, it wont appear in-game.

Sometimes i cant see the objects in ZE either. In my case it's a missing msh.

changed the title to Invisible objects as that is what I think you mean.

Where are you msh and odf directories located? The should be in data_abc/worlds/abc/msh and
data_abc/worlds/abc/odf or ZE won't find the msh files which may be your problem.
Second thing to make sure of is the msh name is spelled correctly in the odf and is shown in the two required places.

[GameObjectClass]
ClassLabel = "prop"
GeometryName = "nameofobject.msh"

[Properties]
GeometryName = "nameofobject"

Under ClassLabel it has to have the .msh and under Properties it doesn't.

Also, in my experience the top GeometryName is only for ZeroEdit, and the bottom is only for in-game. (just a fun fact)

If you're following the tutorial to place a CP, then yeah it is really hard to see. Try zooming into the ground to get a closer look.

English sucks with no good, general neutral gender term. "They" works, but is for multiple people. "His or her" is just a pain to write out all the time, so most people just use "his" since "guy" used to mean both males and females.
