For me the mushrooms do look realistic, cause you never know the next thing you'll see in the star wars world ;)

it may be possible, but it would take some work ( a lot in fact)

That would require actual physics

or (not to stray to far into IFS, but...) you could somehow set up the odf as a trap (like the ewok logs and such) and have it activate when the branch is killed.

finally i played the map. i was sick, so i couldn't do anything for a few days, i'm sorry.
well, i think the map is pretty good, but i'm not sure if i should write a full review because of your numerous updates... :|
i think Darth_Spiderpig's review was enough, but if you need another individual opinion i write one.

use when its destroyed and need to get the 2nd out of the inside of the root of the 1st tree in XSI

A beta review of....

Yavin IV: Plateau

Map By: Acryptozoo

Review By: R8-Q88

First off, I would like to apologize for getting this in so late, and not having pictures of the bugs I found. (My picture hosting site isn't working right now.)

Bugs

- The ISPs in the hangar are missing colission, and I could walk right through them.
- The landspeeders in the hangar are missing windshield textures.
- One of the wind turbines has trees growing through it.
- There are a lot of floating trees between CPs 0 and 4.
- There are a few small holes in the tunnel system.
- The locals are missing localizations.
- One of the ruins is floating a tiny bit.
- A few of the rocks on the cliff are floating.

All in all this a great map with great potential, and I would be delighted to take part in the second beta (gamma?) release.

Keep up the good work Acryptozoo!

I know from experiance, Destroable trees wont work if you want the 2d moving leaves. I tried it for my Ryoth: Nabat map, soon as you change the class to destructablebuilding it doesnt work, it has to be a prop.
Anyway, map looks awesome.

@THEWULFMAN

EDIT:
I'M BAAAAACK

Nice. It's little things like that that make a map memorable.

I agree!

And I like the idea with the animated a log to slowly float down the stream, as far as I know, it hasn't been done before
