Announcing Naboo: Theed Hangar!

Things this map WILL have:

-the hangar
-the generator room
-a bit of Theed

Things this map WON'T have:

-space combat

PROGRESS LOG:

-rough hangar outline complete
-side hallway modeling complete (9-17)
-secret additions underway(9-18 ) CANCELED
-secret additions 50 % complete (9-27) CANCELED
-N1 completed (9-27)
-New Hangar design roughly complete (10-5)
-Pitroom area complete(12-28 )
-generator room 90% complete
-generator room complete (2- 18 )
-hangar complete (3-29)
-hallway 75% done (4-17)

nice. ive been waiting for someone to make this

make sure you include the laser walls that flash on and off. (or would you count that as the power room?)

Yes they would be easy enough to make. It would be an interesting thing to have blaster fights down that hall.

I'm planning on it! still trying to work out how I'll do it, but it'll be there.

I'm not exactly sure of the syntax, but all one needs is a forcefield (you could use the ones from the Mygeeto or space assets, though they are not red), place them on each row, then go into the mission LUA and make some timed loops in which they instantly move out of the hallway (and the visible map), then back in. After seeing the elevator proof of concept map, I'm sure you can move objects to any point on the map instantly with the mission LUA.

Or, you could make them disappear by using KillObject and reappear using RespawnObject.

Or, if you can go outside, some functioning ones....? Probably a long shot, though.

Suggestion: Hero Assault mode (if you haven't already considered it)

I've resumed work on my map after a short absense. I'm trying to work with water, but that's coming VERY slowly. Anyone know of any good tuts?
