I was about to say the same thing. The visor does look a bit paint-ish. Also, while the unit is great and the environment is great, the two just don't mix. Having such a surgically-white trooper against the dark Mustafar background..... Well, let's hope it looks better in the heat of a match.
Other than those issues, great work!

? It's not. It's literally halfway with a purple visor. ANd besides, I like purple. Its mah second fave color. Although, I feel weird about it since green is mah fave...Tygr wrote:Lol, that sounds like an insult.Fluffy_the_ic wrote:If blue doesn't fit it, Fool, you can meet him halfway-Purple visor. And nice!

Good, commander, but if that's supposed to be Dantooine, make it look more like a brown colored plains rather than a brown colored desert.

I need help with the rebel fleet trooper. When I try to edit the skin? I get the transparent skin with a few blotches. When I go to layer-> remove alpha channels, it just makes the transparent part white. Could someone help?

How to work with alpha channels in GIMP(video tutorial)
Follow tutorial to remove the alpha layer and to put it back on unless you want a "shiny" soldier.

Re: Glamour Skins Mark V
How would i remove it? That showed how to add one, but I can't do those steps in reverse, and doing it in the same order just gives me a black background and unalpha'd Jango, not the cloth.AQT wrote:How to work with alpha channels in GIMP(video tutorial)

Well, I was just trying to make the cloth on Jango visible.

Re: Glamour Skins Mark V
Yes, you can do them in reverse. Colors -> Components -> Decompose, Colors -> Components -> Compose (with just RGB). Whenever I make a texture from something like that, it's really easy. First, I strip the alpha texture (four grayscale layers, R, G, B, alpha), then I add the RGB layers back together, then I retexture, then I decompose the RGB texture, then I recompose the new R, G, B with the old alpha.Commander_Fett wrote:How would i remove it? It may sound long but it's the same technique for each thing, just applied a few times.

Exactly my problem as well. I did as DEVISS suggested; got a black and white skin. I can't seem to get it into color.Commander_Fett wrote:How would i remove it?
