So I type in Republic Commando and I click on the result and it says it's for $10 and add to cart. When I'm adding it to the cart, does that mean they're gonna ship one to me or can I just download the game?

Read this (Need to update it sometime, but still gives the main idea.) then tell me if there's anymore questions.

Quick answer: Download, but still read it.

You won't get a disc from them, only a download.
[Edit]
Beat me too it.

But with the download will I be able to play the game?

Sorry to be annoying, I've never used Steam and I wanna know what I'm doing before I go wasting my money.

In short, Steam is a game downloading service. Therefore, it will not be necessary for you to wait for a disc.

Admin win.

Basically, you buy a game, then steam downloads and installs it on your computer.

Btw, I did read that article but it didn't fully cover my question.

Saw this too:
"several world exclusive announcements", and it sounds game related. (cross fingers)

Looks promising. But which friday are they talking about? I thought it was the 25th but that's a Saturday. I guess it's next Friday...

EDIT:
If they do not give anything about BF3 then my hope in LA will be totally crushed.

Kotaku also found some leaked 360 achievements for The Force Unleashed having to do with Boba Fett, Jabba, and Old Obi-Wan. Looks like they're finally going to do what we've all been hoping with The Force Unleashed ---> Using it as an engine for all our favorite Star Wars moments.

If this DLC is any good, The Force Unleashed will get bumped from occasional rental to used-purchase.

Sad news people, as far as I know, BF3 was not announced at the convention. If anyone knows anything different, then post it.

Couldn't they at least give us some light as to what's happening with it?

Nope, no BF3, just a Force Unleashed expansion.

And a new Republic Heroes trailer. It looks like LucasArts failed yet again. Well, there's always next year.

As of right now, SWBF3 is not confirmed in any way by Lucsarts. It's probably in develpment, but we don't know the status of it. I was really hoping that they would share what's up with the game, but no such luck yet. At the end of the day, it's only a video game :funny2:

Force Unleashed for PC sounds great, but only if it's a 360/PS3 port, NOT a wii/PS2 port. Time will tell.
