Question on command posts.

Post by PurpleFerret »

First off, hey to everyone at GameToast. I've started mapping, just today, playing around with the tools and I'm starting to get the basics, but I've got an issue with command posts.

On my map, for me to proceed, I need to move the command posts for the two sides, to oposite sides of the map. I can't figure out how to do this. I'm not sure what regions to move, *how* to move them, or whatever. I tried selecting the object but that's...not an object, apparently. Better yet, I'd like to delete them and make them again in the position that I want. Is there anything I should read/watch, other than the guides in the documentation?

Help would be appriciated.

Hello PurpleFerret, welcome to the world of modding, but first you should go HERE it has practically everything you need, and about the command posts, go to the conquest layer, and you should be able to control the cp, once controlled press and hold X to move side-side-up-down, or X/Z to rotate on X-Y-Z axis.... hope that helps.....

you call SWBF2 modding a SUB-forum..? :? lol

Ferret' if I remember right (since I'm no mapper :P ) you gotta select some kind of Base Layer, in which the 4 'autogenerated' CP's are placed in. If you use thta layer you should be able to delete them, move them etc. :)

It's the Conquest layer, like ipodzanyman said. The Layers button is in the middle of the top bar of buttons in ZE.
