I was making a space map that is supposed to have a ground so I can place objects, etc.

I just want a straightforward answer that includes all the details to exactly how you are supposed to do this.

Just a step-by-step process that will keep this map from crashing when I open it.

Step 1: make a ground map with the space ships in it, simple.

But I don't want the fighters to land outside of the ship

(I also heard that capital ships in Ground maps make the game crash)

ROFL LOL,
sorry, but, thats just funny.
1: capital ships in ground maps DO not make the game crash, why would they? its just a .msh and .odf
2: all you have to do is add in landing regions and the landing region script in the .lua and you can only land in the landing regions :p
