Steam BF2 Modding? [Solved]
I recently got my new computer with Windows 7 and bought swbf2 via downloading it from the Steam website. This morning i couldnt the program files anywhere where the FAQ said or where i thought it was. So is it possible to modify swbf2 from Steam via the modtools or downloaded files, or have i just wasted 20$?

Yep, the Steam version is just as moddable as all the others. To find your SWBF2 folder just do a search for "Star Wars Battlefront II"

Re: Steam BF2 Modding?
I'd like to know this too, as I've also just got the steam version. Anyway I've got the DTII and Marvels conversions all working fine in the Steam version. The only problem though is you might not be able to run the debug BF2_modtools.exe.
Edit: Yes, thats the correct directory for the addon: Steam\SteamApps\common\star wars battlefront ii\gamedata
