I can't stand the guy's voice, that's the only reason I won't watch Red Letter Media reviews.

That was pretty funny. I felt like beating my messaging machine after seeing the movie as well.

Why are you so surprised? Of course they're going to make a sequel. Imagine you're sitting with those movie producers:
Producer 1: Avatar did pretty well.
Producer 2: Yeah, highest grossing movie ever!
Producer 3: Is there any more money we can suck out of this?
Producer 2: Well, we already made action figures and lunchboxes...
Producer 1: How about a sequel?
Producers 2+4: Brilliant!

Think about it. BY the end of the movie, all of the problems had been solved. The Na'vi lived happily ever after, and the army is leaving for no reason and will never return. Storywise, a sequel is redundant.

What about the Pirates of the Carribean movies? The first ended happily. Will and the girl got together and Jack escaped death and chilled in his boat! A perfect ending! But then they had to make a second and third and ruin the whole universe of the movies. Such a dissapointment.

Actually, there's gonna be two sequels. And while I can't be sure, a seamless transmission to a fake body probably will play some role, and the fact that an entire race getting it's Diet Dr. Pepper kicked generally spells revenge *coughworldwartwo*

Aye, but James Cameron had a trilogy planned out since 1994 or whenever. The next two films were supposed to be more about Pandora, and Jake and Ney'tiri leading the tribe, and stuff.

That's not true. Will Turner helped Jack to escape, that put him in an awkward position, didn't it?

Last time I checked, this wasn't about Pirates of The Carribean.

But if Jake, Neytiri, and the rest of the Na'vi are wiped out in the second movie, I'd pay to see it. Of course, I'd sneak into some other movie until it's slaughtering time. And then I'd go see Avatar 3, where they build a McDonalad's on top of the floating mountain thingy where the Na'vi used to live.

Or I could just go watch the District 9 sequel.

I believe there will be a sequal, seeing how Avatar picked up nine nominations, including those for best picture and director at the Oscar nominations. But will see how many it actually wins.

And I'd watch an Avatar sequel. I liked this one enough, I'm at least interested in what they could have to show.

Don't watch an Avatar sequel.

This very conversation has happened multiple times. It solves absolutely nothing. That, and it's boring.

Please, if you don't like it, don't post here. It's that simple.
