Why are you so surprised? Of course they're going to make a sequel. Imagine you're sitting with those movie producers:Darth_Squoobus wrote:NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! They're going to make a sequel!
Think about it. BY the end of the movie, all of the problems had been solved. The Na'vi lived happily ever after, and the army is leaving for no reason and will never return. Storywise, a sequel is redundant.Fierfek wrote:Why are you so surprised? Of course they're going to make a sequel. Producer 1: Avatar did pretty well.
Producer 2: Yeah, highest grossing movie ever!
Producer 3: Is there any more money we can suck out of this?
Producer 2: Well, we already made action figures and lunchboxes...
Producer 1: How about a sequel?
Producers 2+4: Brilliant!
What about the Pirates of the Carribean movies? The first ended happily. Will and the girl got together and Jack escaped death and chilled in his boat! A perfect ending! But then they had to make a second and third and ruin the whole universe of the movies. Such a dissapointment.Darth_Squoobus wrote:Think about it. .....oh wait.
That's not true. Will Turner helped Jack to escape, that put him in an awkward position, didn't it?Edward_Cullen wrote:What about the Pirates of the Carribean movies? The first ended happily. Last time I checked, this wasn't about Pirates of The Carribean.mswf wrote:That's not true. This very conversation has happened multiple times. It solves absolutely nothing. That, and it's boring.Guy #2 wrote:I would like to dispute your claim in an opposing and derogatory fashion.
