the idea is from swbf1. I want to be able to leave ships in mid flight, but don't know where to look or look for.

I looked at all vehicle odfs from bf1 and bf2 but can't really see anything that might control this ability.

I'm guessing there would be some code(Example ExitShipInAir) that I don't know about.

you want to exit a fighter while flying?? As far as i know there is no such function in swbf1.

Yes it is possible in BF1. It is one of my most missed features. I think it is hard-coded.
