That would be very boring... That's not the sense of this map.Lagomorphia wrote:Stock ships would fix that. And the collision issues. And the texture issues.About the Providence interior, well, it's gonna be a problem since the only interior for it are the hangar with no doors for a custom interior and the bridge part.
It's in the hangar on the bottom of a venator right behind the spawn venator. When you fly out of this corridor-thing turn left and fly to the venator furthest from you on this side of the spawn venator.R8-Q88 wrote:I found the counsolar cruiser, but how do I get in it?
How you get in...? I think you have to spawn at the second command post of the republic. Problem is, you're coming out on the other side of the map. I think that's a bug...

Re: Clone Wars - Space Boz Pity
Using freecam I found out that how you get in the counsolar is that you spawn at the rep's second cp which is a cp in a really long polis massa tunnel with the entrance to the counsolar at the end, however when you try to spawn at that cp, you spawn on top of the the providence's bridge.

OK... now what's up? What's the current state?
There were rumours about a second beta, cause this one was released very early... what's about that?

Current state: On hold till I get home again ( I'm gone for nearly a week now :0)_DeltaForce_ wrote:OK... now what's up? What's the current state?

And the beta was released that early because I wanted to get the beta out before I went on holiday.
@all:
I've read most of your reports and lists, I just didn't get enough money to reply to them (Yeah, at the hotel's PCs you have to pay to use them...2 bucks for 32 minutes) so yeah.
Don't think I've skipped all because of this but meh, it's just that I don't have enough time to reply to all. (and using an english keybord doesn't make typing go faster anyways...
So stay tuned all, more work will be done on this.

@Blade 17, your message seemed painfully brief and kind of just a waste of comment space. Now I'm not trying to be mean, but at least ask a question or throw in some input please. I can't stand when people do that to me! Thanks (I hope)!

Sincerest apologies, won't happen again. Are you working on this as well? I thought it was just Darth_Spiderpig and Executor94, but I could be wrong...

Re: Clone Wars - Space Boz Pity
Your post was fine. Brief and to the point is good in some cases, and a bit of encouragement can go a long way in helping someone continue working on a map. MrCrayon, You wasted even more space by saying how he wasted space.
I'd like to see a second beta, the first beta had so many bugs and incomplete parts (not saying it's bad, it happens when you make maps) I just think a map like this deserves as much polish as you're willing to give it. Also, I could test online compatibility.

Online compatibility was tested on this beta already - look at our (Kopter and mine) report, first point under "Found Bugs".AgentSmith_#27 wrote:I'd like to see a second beta, the first beta had so many bugs and incomplete parts (not saying it's bad, it happens when you make maps) I just think a map like this deserves as much polish as you're willing to give it. Something that should absolutely be fixed, online it makes much more fun than in singelpalyer.
A second beta would be nice. I would be sad if there are still any bugs when released, this map doesn't deserve this.

Re: Clone Wars - Space Boz Pity
naw, I WISH I was working on this!
Which reminds me! How far are you guys (the makers of said map) into the completion of bugs and yucky little errors? A percentage would be nice! And by the way, I am about to explode with anticipation right now!
hey, here is an image of the battle of Boz Pity CW era!

Just one thing though-
A. Could there be a hidden easter egg please? I love looking for'em!
B. Could you include me in the credits as the guy who pestered you on when you guys were
going to be done? (Just kidding...unless you could...)
p.s. I'm sorry if I came across as mean. That was not my intention. If you guys felt differently, I respect that. (hugs all around in a non-creepy kind of way)

Re: Clone Wars - Space Boz Pity
@MrCrayon, apology accepted. Easter eggs are nice, but doesn't asking for one, in a way, defeat the purpose?
Second beta possibility is intriguing... Might it be public? (If it exists at all)

As far as I know there is no other beta out actually.
It's up to Spider wheater to do an easter egg or not. I myself prefer to dont have any ones.

Re: Clone Wars - Space Boz Pity
To the map creators I think you have done a great job so far.
Its nice to see a diverse space battle because out of the many map possibilities it is one of the most under used battlegrounds which have so much potential.
As seen with the Dark Times II the Space Mon Calamari is quite large and has multiple ships to board along with bigger ship interiors so every single aspect is being used to its fullest.

If you refer to my post: I WANT to see a second beta. I mean that I'm looking forward for a second beta to be released. That there already is one I don't know (but I don't assume it too).Executer94 wrote:As far as I know there is no other beta out actually.

Re: Clone Wars - Space Boz Pity
I'll just stress again, I think a second beta would be a really good idea, because there were so many bugs and incomplete parts, I can only imagine all us beta testers didn't catch it all, and even though I'm pretty busy I'd be willing to test this map extensively, including (with your permission) online with my brother.
I'd hate to see online be ignored, because I doubt I'd be modding and playing SWBF2 if I couldn't play addon maps online. There's not an AI smart enough (definitely not bf2's) that can replace the intelligence of a human being.

Re: Clone Wars - Space Boz Pity
I hope this space map doesn't drop off the face of the planet like previous ones have because it has alot of potential.
